Can you use it over existing tile that was from a roll. I live in a MH and I am happy with peel n stick I have used in some rooms. I am interested in doing my bathroom but hesitate to pull up existing tile.
@london1817 We used a really cheap brand of self adhesive tiles in our bathroom and kitchen. We are replacing them now for a new look, but they were still attached. They were coming up a little in the bathroom right beside the bathtub where it was always wet. They lasted about 8 years!
Great stuff you selling your tiles, but I don't see any useful tips on how to do it :-). However...As a 'measure of thumb' one would NEVER start in one corner when it comes to tiles, but at the center point of the room. Otherwise it will look wonky and that can't be rectified later on.. So good luck selling ;-)
Very imformative video! It answered almost all of our questions about applying the tiles tomorrow. If you guys were in my region I'd have bought the tile there!
Will this stuff stick on plywood flooring ? We own a townhouse which the previous owners had white burber carpet installed in the entrance...yea.. its nasty after 7 years. We cant afford $600-700 quotes for new carpet. I saw these tile sections like in your video.. Can i just rip the carpet up clean the floor and stick them on plywood ? Or is plywood not a smooth enough surface ? Will they hold up to a German shepherd running on them or will they wiggle out of place ? Thats my biggest worry
@charhagaru Sorry I took so long to reply. I didn't see your post until today. Yes, the tile is fine for the dining area. All your questions are appreciated.
@SkullVodka I bought my tiles today at $1.26 a Sq. Ft. and to me in the 100 Sq. Ft. kitchen I will install them in isnt cheap by any means, Lowes had actual stone tile that was cheaper than what I bought...it's an ease of DIY that attracts people to these.
@SkullVodka You're welcome to your opinion but we have thousands of happy customers. I bet it would look great in YOUR mobile home. Better than the trash-picked carpet you're using.
@moderncoupon Which one? I own several. And I actually live in a 2800 square foot brick home on 3/4 of an acre. But that is besides the point. And none of my properties are afflicted with your sub par s@#t.
@SkullVodka mobile home living is looking up in today's economy but seriously, not everyone can afford travertine. this is not only a good alternative, it's an easy DIY so you save money there. they make these better and better. It lasts and can be easily replaired if anything happens to it. I also like that it can be switched out easily if you tire of the design.
@bassinbill42 my question exactly. I'm dealing with some old glue now that I am going to attempt to sand down since it's a fairly small bathroom. if it doesnt work, I'm going to replace the floor boards entirely. anything worth doing....

Let's face it. Looks cheap. Like in a mobile home. I guess it looks better than plywood or a dirt floor, but that's about it.
