  • the guy sucks at shifting he is going to blow his engine he was way to close the red line

  • @castroluis1220 dude you need to take it to red line when its a close race, yea its hard on the engine but so is racing in the first place. taking it close to red line when racing does not mean he sucks at shifting

  • Why you when gear at the red line ??? -.-

  • lol I knew I recognized the area.. OBT is right near the crib. Nice G35s btw. Getting one real soon.

  • Awesome vid! Nice setup guys.

  • Truck at 0:30, love it!!!

  • Well done to the ST! I have a TN ST 350Z.

  • The highest setting I have pushes 8.5psi but I keep it at six... I have an eboost2 so it's easy to switch through stages I have 4 stages all together 6psi, 7psi, 8.5psi and a race gas setting

  • I been watchin all of this guys vids I just did the turbonetics on my 05 g and I love it my #s are 355whp 333wtq at 6 psi and 377whp and 375wtq at 8psi I keep at 6 most of the time unless there's a car I can't beat I plan on putting a video up soon

  • @steven3313 whats the most psi you can take it up to? or you keep your psi low because you haven't modded the rest of your motor yet?

  • theres more than just a cam too that G. what else does it have?

  • anyone can do doughnuts but it takes skill to circle drift...

  • a fucking cold air intake hardly adds any significance to performance. AN INTERCOOLER will.

  • which one gives you more hp?a z tube or cold air intake.i have a nismo cold air intake, but i keep hearing alot of people talking about z tubes

  • Cold Air bri ive dynoed with Z tube short ram intake and i get more power with Cold Air since you are collecting more colder denser air most people that say Z tube never owned a cold air

  • @350gtrs Oh ok,thanks 4 the info.

  • daaaaamn so fast in town

  • ok.. which one was the ST and which one was the TT?

  • Can you read?!

  • If im correct i think this is o.b.t?

  • sweet !

  • Wow, here you are again trolling on g35 video. Got no life, huh?

  • awesome cars.

  • pine hills in dis bitch! lolz haha

  • is this in orlando?

  • Damn Ryan! I miss nights like this out there! Nice Fuckin car man...

  • Good video, real nice and clean G35's.

  • Is this by chance 436 near University?

  • No, but almost as stupid... It was on OBT, by 528.

  • @tommy8897 hey tommy nice ride man,i have a question for u,i just bought a 2005 g35 turboneticd single, the afr show 13:8-14:00 at idle is that normal or too rich?also is your g35 high rev or not?

  • is it worth getting the Utec piggyback..and use it on the bolt ons i have now and later use it for my turbo setup??..cause with utec u perdy much can tune it yourself depending the mods u have right?..my current setup is X02 exhaust, test pipes,UD pulleys, kinetix ssv intake manifold

  • Yeah, alot of people tune their own Utec. I bought my Utec and had it installed and tuned when I had a Z-tube with K&N filter, Crawford plenum, Crawford cats, and HKS Hi-Power exhaust. I gained 17rwhp throughtout the entire RPM band, not just the peak. My car then made 260rwhp/250rwtq.

A month a later, I took off the Z-tube and cats and added the Turbonetics kit and retuned the Utec.

  • may i ask how much u purchased ur utec??...im really taking the utec in consideration for my next mod

  • I paid $1000 for the purchase of the Utec, installed and tuned.

  • last night i was bidding on a new one of ebay...i stopped bidding at 750 and lost it haha..but later i found a place where i can get it for 699.99 shipped :)....hey i was reading thru ur comments and ur selling some parts..right???..by any chance u still have the z tube?

  • $700 shipped is a good deal. The Z-tube is long gone... I sold that when the turbo kit went on.

  • sux...people r asking too much for z tubes now and days!!..do u have a myspace or something to reach u at instead of here??..i hope im not getting on ur nerves cause i ask too much o_O?...i just dont kno people that have G's that can give me hints and advice me

  • ya you can throw it in and then tune it as you go. some people like to save the money for later and just drop in all the bolt ons and tune as they go with a simple programmer type setup. Its up to you. Personally, I did it both on different cars and I thought that the second time around when I had it installed and then tuned it as i progressed was better then just buying bolt ons and then buyin the utec at the end.

  • funguy7979 thanks for the info..yeah..i already got it but havent installed it yet...btw do u recommend using the Exhaust and intake map that the utec already comes with???

  • 400 rwhp?!!! ill a very very happy man when i reach to that point...i have a revup motor on my G so i might hit around 430rwhp safely on stock internals right?.....im bearly in the process on doin some mods..i have UD unorthodox pulleys and i just order the new kinetix "velocity" SSV manifold... btw thanks for replying its nice to get advice by a fellow g owner thats knows his stuff

  • With the revup and a GReddy kit... on 8-10 psi, you will be around 390-430whp safely. Get a nice flowing exhaust (most people go with the GReddy Evo TT exhaust), maybe even the 3" downpipes, and a good EMS and you are good to go.

  • so ur saying greddys eMs is not that good O_o?...i think im just gonna stick with turbonetics..speacially since i dont have to deal with the headers..that will make it way easier on me to install and later take off if im made to remove my turbo kit

  • The GReddy kit already comes with manifolds. It also comes with RC 440cc injectors and and the GReddy Emanage. the RC 440s are worthles... I'd upgrade to a 500cc injeotor or bigger.

The Turbonetics kit utilizes the stock manifolds. It also comes with the RC 440cc injectors and a reflash...you send you ECU into Turbonetics and they reflash it for you. Same thing...ditch the injectors and get bigger ones. I'd at least get a piggyback ECU like the Utec,

  • his is G styling at the end :P haha I have a 04 TL same as G35 but Im letting my mother have it and will get myself a Coupe G35 03 or 04 amazing cars their beautiful, can;t waiut till next year so I can get it!!!

  • man the 2 turbo setups im debating on...tommy8897 if both of u had the same psi, what do u honestly think would of been the out come?

  • I trapped 116mph with 355rwhp and he trapped 118mph with 400whp. I went to the track last week and ran a 12.5 @ 114mph on 10psi, but I was on my stock 18s with bald 245/45/18 Michellin Pilot Sports.

  • thats almost a 50whp difference between u to ..116 and 118mph is really close..is it that ur a better driver or just turbo lagg on the other turbo kit? i live in cali and the greedy kit is what i look forward on purchasing mainly because its 50 state legal..but now turbonetics is tempting me since i see it responds betters...man i still cant believe a tt and st are so close to each other

  • You're in Cali? That sucks.... No emissions in FL is pretty nice, haha.

All the FI kits are 50 state legal, but being in Cali...you need a CARB legal forced induction kit. Vortech is the only one that is CARB legal.

  • nahh...greddy has 50 state CARB legal kits too unless they BS'd me..yeah it must be nice down there..hey will the turbonetics kit and the hks dual exhaust bolt on? are u using ur stock headers?

  • Trust me... GReddy is not CARB approved. Since the Turbonetics kit is a single turbo, which means only one downpipe, I had to modify the HKS Hi-Power exhaust since it's a dual exhaust. I had a reverse y-pipe made and it works fine.

  • oh man..i called greedy and ur right!!!! i wanted to prove u wrong so bad lol...anyways, i think im just gonna risk it and go with turbonetics...2nd option Vortech..and 3rd stillen....so did u use ur stock headers on ur setup?, i heard aftermarket header dont make a big difference.

  • I know my stuff...haha. I used to work for Performance Factory, who was the biggest VQ tuner in the South.

Aftermarket headers don't make a difference. Just use your stock manifolds and save your money. On 8-10 psi, you will make 400rwhp.

  • 1.need more pressure for a bit more acceleration

    2. work with the transmission

    3. stop playing in the streets, your car has a lot of potential

  • 1. 0-60mph in 3.55 seconds is enough acceleration for me :)

    2. I'm on my 2nd transmission and my 6th gear synchro is donezo. I'm not going to replace it since I can live with it.

    3. I don't play on the streets anymore.

  • bad as fukkkk

  • The end was sick. Nice g's btw. I got a 04 dp. Hope to possibly put in a Vortech or Procharger before summer.

  • Fucking Twin Turbos and its barely at 400 man thats weak sauce.

  • It's actually the average considering the stock VQ35DEs can only handle 8-10 psi safely

  • where was this video taken?

    looks like victorville CA.

  • Orlando, FL

  • i have a complete turbonetics kit for g35 for sale if anyones lookin, , newest version, wastegate relocation kit, water cooled housing. . clean kit only 3k miles. . great kit

  • So you are for sure selling it now? I thought I saw on My350/Driver that you were up in the air about it? I'm getting rid of mine too and I bet it will be the cheapest anyone has ever sold a Turbonetics kit for.

  • yeah def. sellin it, im gonna do somethin else with the car...if it don't sell now i will put it on e-bay after christmas, and income tax time. .

  • true...well, goodluck with the sale. As soon as I have time to get mine off, it's going up for sale.

  • how come you're taking off your turbo kit?

  • I have 96k miles on the car, so I would like to get a new car soon. I also need the money, as the economy sucks and I'm not making much money right now.

  • Comment removed

  • How much did you sell it for?

  • 3500 shipped so i got 3425 out of it after shipping

  • Good deal! I'm only asking $3k for my turbo kit.... but I'm up to asking $5k with the injectors, utec, boost controler, turbo timer, oil pan spacer and braided line, innovate wb, and clutch/flywheel.

  • not bad at all...should sell, but then again economy and turbonetics is being lost in the mix of all the other new kits now...is ur kit the new version with water-cooled housing or older version...my kit only had 3k miles on it too..id say u should be able to sell it...i didn't sell on forums it ended up selling off e-bay

  • It's the older version. My friend is the new shop manager of RX Performance in Tampa and they want to turbo their shop car...so that's what I have lined up. It's just finding an agreeable price now. I'm worried about selling my wheels...

  • Is the turbonetics ST a ball bearing turbo? and what has your car dynoed at what psi

  • Yes. On 8psi, the car made 355whp/355wtq. On 10psi, the car currently makes 365whp/396wtq.

  • The second pull was pretty clean. pretty fair start for both cars. dope.

  • :o that guy gave you the finger!

  • What is the highest limit of "hp" on the stock internals on the G35/350z motors??!

  • On stock internals, the popular hp # is around 400whp. There's been a few documented cars that have been at 450whp for awhile with no problems and even a few videos of cars dynoing right at 500whp on the stock internals...but those were never heard of again, so who knows how long those motors lasted.

  • What about the new VQ35HR motors and the G37's? Are there turbo kits for those motors? Can they handle more than the previous version?

  • No one has really tested the limits on the internals of the VQ35HR or the VQ37. The VQ35HR has been proven on more than a few cars to run 500whp on 10psi at a safe level. I think GReddy just released their TT kit for it about a year ago, but didn't officially hit markets until a few months ago. I know of a few VQ37's that are at 500whp and are still not close to pushing the limits. Performance Factory will be debuting their first TT'ed VQ37 soon, so we will see how they do with it.

  • well, this car is called Skyline in Japan, in the US and Canada, it's the Infiniti G37, which is a rebranded Nissan from Japan.

  • wow nice car bro i have a 05 g35 but it's stock beside from the coilovers and the jdm emblems.

nice i was planning on getting the twin turbo setup but i bought an s13 and that's my new project and the g35 is my daily driver.

  • damn! Im in love with your car, wish my UK Focus ST used RWD in stead of FWD

  • what does it redline at?

  • Stock redlines is 6500. Mine redlines at 7200, but I rarely take it that far.

  • nice car. i have an 06 350z and i think im gonna sell it and get g35. I live in orlando to, i seen you at speed world a couple of times. nice car again

  • Why do you wan't to get a G? And thanks, man. I haven't been out these since Feb...I'm missing it :(

  • back seats. and there a little more sexy. lol but well see im looking for a trade for the g35

  • Nice vid man post more.

  • did you guys pass a fire truck or something? what was that at 0:31

  • It was a truck carrying some cars. Once again...I know it wasn't the smartest idea.

  • Calling someone stupid who asks why drive like a lunatic on public roads ... priceless.

  • lol ok

  • DONT call me stupid, esp. someone who doesn't know safety, "it was right in front of the shop" that doesn't give an excuses if a car just leaves an intersection. btw nice cars, good riddance.

  • lagoskid,

i dont think he was calling you stupid...i think he was saying that he knew that racing on public roads was stupid

  • Why do yall do this on public roads?

  • Sorry, I wasn't calling you stupid. I said I know it's stupid to do that. I have over 140 passes down the drag strip in this car. I mainly keep it on the track...my friend was at the shop and we wanted to compare. It was late on a Fri night with few cars on the road. I know I can't justify doing it, but I can try my best to limit the hazards. And if a car pulls out, that's what my Brembo's are for :)

  • lol Brembos

    Alright

  • don't justify yourself to some internet fuck tard.

    nice races, and nice car!

  • nice vid bro 5 stars, p.s where's this at ?

  • Thanks, guys. Orlando, FL.

  • sick got to love the Gs are u using to turbontics turbo in the video or did u swap turbos

  • It's the full Turbonetics kit, including the T60-1.

  • Sorry, dude...didn't mean to delete your comment. It's the Kuruma front bumper.

  • wow them cars are fucking amazing

  • thats fukkin sick!!

  • Which on is TT and ST!!!

  • The cam car is the ST. Which of course means the car you can actually see is the one running twins.

  • wow..pretty damn even for a st vs a tt

  • i cant wait to get my g35.not gonna do donuts though.only g35 i hate is a damaged one

  • what are the years of those g's?

  • My single turbo is an '04. The TT car is an '03

  • one more Q., how do u drift your G35 at the end of the video? I wanna try!

  • nice car! I start loving G35 after watching your video!

  • hahaha way to waste gasoline like a dumbass...

  • Thanks! I get 18-20mpg, no matter how I drive...

  • So is the 6000 including the labor to install? I'm been looking around to see where I can grab one and how much it will cost for the whole setup.

Hook a brother up. Email me the details!

  • was this on obt... sure looks familiar

  • i doubt it, i didnt see any hookers

  • Haha, yeah it was. It was out in front of our shop. I know it's a dumb place to race, but it was past midnight with almost no one on the road.

  • what your shops name? Pefroamnce Factory?

  • Yes

  • I'm assuming that you are driving the single turbo G35. How much did the whole setup cost you? Could you include the cost of the car and 0-60 time also? Thanks.

  • With everything I've needed to run the Turbonetics kit run right, I'm in about $6000. I bought the Turbonetics kit used.

My best 0-60 time is 3.55 seconds, according to a 0-60mph claculator using my 1/4mile time slip.

  • Whew, 3.55 for only $6,000? That's quite a bargain.

    Raced any Corvettes lately?

  • I've raced my friend's 2008 LS3 vette with exhaust and we were dead even. I raced a modded C5 Z06 and lost by a 1/2 car.

  • Oh.. LS3? Is that the C6 or the Z06?

Yeah.. You have your good and bad days.

Right now I have none as I'm not old enough to drive yet.

  • Ls3 is the new 2008 Corvette engine, with 430hp.

  • how dos a "tt" and An "st" derfer

  • tt = twin turbo.

    st = single turbo.

  • thanks bud

  • Well one has one turbo one has two. lol, the tt most generrally will have two smaller trubos comparded to one large one

  • was that in florida! looked familiar. nice car

  • Yeah, in Orlando.

  • what year is that g35 in the vid?

  • MY car is an 04. The car I raced is an 03.

  • coupes are hot but

    my sedan rocks !!!

    nice video tommy.

  • damn, nice shit amn, but i'll trade in my BMW 330i for the new G37 Skyline :)

  • That will most likely be my next car. The day I buy that car...it will be lowered with 20" wheels. I don't like the looks of it otherwise.

  • couldbt agree with u more.

  • new 37 is ugly

  • also its fucking 3,700 lbs

  • Yeah, I know...I know... I doubt I would go this extreme on a G37, but who knows?

  • sounds crazy

  • Man, its stuff like this that makes me wish my dad bought the coupe instead of the sedan! (ONLY reason we didn't get it is cause my head hit the back window! That's the ONLY reason)

  • What is this instead of the sedan? . The Only thing that the coupe has on the sedan is the option for Brembos. The sedan has the same engine and is lighter then the coupe. Lower the sedan and install some sways and its all game on the track. Personally if i wanted a 4dr VQ i would go with the G35 sedan if i wanted a 2dr VQ i would go with the 350z. BTW nice Video!

  • No, all Im saying is that you can't get any customs for the sedan! I've looked on ebay and everything but its all for the coupe! In Super Street or magizines like that, they sell parts for the coupe! My dads car is lowered with sports suspension and stuff (which I'm not complaining about cause that rocks) but he wants Brembos on his, plus a new grill and stuff like that! (yeah I know there are grills for the sedan and brakes but he wants more stuff thats only for the coupe)

  • This is true for most cosmetic mods the sedan is limited. But most every performance part that fits the coupe fits the sedan from suspension to Turbo kits.. I went with a sedan just because very few people no the modding potential of it, so you don't really see many modded sedans. I just purchased a SFR TT kit for my 6mt Sedan and will be running like these boys if not better here soon. I guess it all comes down to preference

  • Now see, if I were driving the car, I would go all out and go with your advice and look for performance parts, but my dad doesn't. It had something to do with stock parts being different with custom effecting the price I think! I forgot. But I might get him to look into it!

  • I like the ST better for some reason.
