@SlimKirby I like that you keep mentioning how you're definitely going to be going for all the collectables in this game; I appreciate completionism because, in my mind, it represents experiencing the game to its fullest, the way I believe the developers intended. After all, they put it in the game, so why not take the time to see it for yourself? The one annoying for me in this game was the use of colors. I'm color-blind so I did have trouble telling a difference between Red & Green items, blue & purple.

I love the Barrel Blasting courses in this game. In addition to all the first-class nostalgia it provides, they're just like these serene breaks in the action. i dunno, I just like em.

I wish they would have done a bit more with the animal friends in the game, too, but hey, I guess you can't get everything.

I wish they'd kept the original design of the guns from the beta. (Coconut shooter looked like a real Double barrel shotgun, Diddy's peanut popguns looked like real pistols.) Although admittedly it would've seemed a little weird.

Those barrel courses can get annoying, you think you have the timing for them but sometimes you just miss the barrels by a little bit. :P

Yeah, the minimal use of animal buddies in this game was kinda disappointing, there should be one of those in every level.

They really do nothing except there's a door before King K. Rools room which can only be entered by having at least 4 Battle Crowns. It also leads to the Final Key, but you need N64 and Rareware Coin to go through to get the Final Key in King K. Rools room.

Actually, from what I remember, the second animal buddy that you encounter (no spoilers =P) has a much greater role in this game than Rambi does, even though the transformation is only in one area. Both animal buddies also have a mini-game, like you said.

I also like how they brought back barrel blasting from Donkey Kong Country...but now in THREE-DEE! =O You must have loved it so much because you had to do it twice. =)
