  • @JamesArnoldTaylor

Where's Part 5 James? Not trying to be annoying as I'm sure you've gotten the exact same message a hundred times over, but just curious. :) Ah, you're prolly busy with Johnny Test, Clone Wars and a miriad of other things that you can't tell the public, lol. Keep up the amazing work James. :D

  • Omg! That episode of batman is my favorite!!!!! And green arrow and black canary's song is my favorite :)

  • going to see ttm in may

    :D

  • I must say that I'm amazed at the versatility of your voice. Did a lot of that come naturally or did you have to hard work on it?

  • It's almost a mind-trip to see that voice coming out of your mouth, just because it's a voice that is usually detached and never given an image. It's like I can't see it belonging to a human. You amaze me!

  • Batman smells... That sounds like it could be apart of a funny little skit in The Simpsons or South Park.

  • Still waiting for part 5 after 4 months =(

  • Amazingly,James I learnt something more of being a V.A.it's like a -surreal-online-tutorial JAT..and Free of charge lol.Thank you JAT.

  • Love you James! You're my inspiration. I'd love to have an exciting career like yours.

  • I'm glad u can have fun with what u do and u don't just treat it as work. I am very surprised how many voices u do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIG FAN of FFX and all the other work u do!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A JAT fan 4 ever AWSOME vid BTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @JamesArnoldTaylor Echo echo. Awesome job James, if I ever make a video game I want you in it. I think it's cool that you show what it's like to be a voice actor because I've always wanted to know and it's cool to finally see someone do that. In the short time I've been alive, especially having owned a PS2 for so long (Ratchet and Clank and Final Fantasy X are in my top ten favorite games ever). You are one of my idols and keep up the epic work James.

  • i looked james up on wiki and he hasn't done any anime roles. kinda surprising. why?

  • @LysergIY Anime is generally done outside of the Screen Actors Guild or Radio Television guilds contracts,so union actors like myself are not eligible to do the work. Also, they are not usually recorded in Hollywood. It is usually very taxing work for very little pay and I commend the actors that do it for the love of it. Thanks for checking out my stuff! Best to you! JAT

  • @JamesArnoldTaylor Thank you. I loved your role in Final Fantasy X as Tidus and because japanese games have a connections to anime, I would suspect that you might have done roles in the anime department also. Someday when anime actors get paid better i hope to see you star in future anime series. Your voice acting work is just too awesome to not have touched every area voice work has to offer. I support your work all the way.

  • GAH! I never knew that was you in the Fox Promos!!! That's so cool! haha

  • Man, I wish I had a voice acting job either for promos or TV!

James, do you know where I should start?

  • @JCHIV1989 This is coming from a guy who does commercials for my school doing an imitation of Tom Kane's Scrubbing Bubbles voice (Me.) Ask your local News Station or Radio Station if you can promote ads for them, they may not pay you a whole lot (I do it for free.) But they will offer you to do it for other programs and etc. When you do National Commercials that's when the money comes in. Trust me.

  • So with the ISDN echo, do you actually hear that through the headphones, and if so, was it difficult to adjust to?

  • @r3dronin Yes, I hear that in my headphones whenever they have their "talkback" button pushed. But usually not when I'm voicing the promos. and Yes, it takes a lot of getting used to. Thanks for the question Best to you! JAT

  • Pro.

  • This is fantastic as always James. Both entertaining and informative! I've favourited this so it can join the others!

  • ECHO..echo..echo...

  • I meant to say. That was awesome. It is neat that you were the COPS promo voice for the last 8 years.

  • That eas

  • I can't sit still when I'm doing voice acting, I have to physically act it out.

Good to know I'm not the only one.

  • this guy is awesome

  • XD

    loved it!

  • These are so awsome James. Thanks for sharing can't wait for the next one :)

  • "Batman smells" bit sounds like something Oliver Queen would break into, also Green Apples... Green Arrow... Harry Osborn... Green Yoda? Hmm

  • Like your new video, James. :) Hope you had a fun Christmas and New Year. :)

May the Force be with you.

  • I swear, I'd be singing "Batman smells" every time. It's a hard habit to break. Keep cranking these out James, they're impossible not to enjoy.

  • haha, great stuff, your southern accent is better than mine! and I LIVE in the south!

  • Woohooo!

Thought I would never see another JAT vo session.

    Awesome, as always.

  • More of these, I love them!

  • It's incredible how you can change your voice into that announcer tone so easily. Heeeeey.... do you do that tone for some of the commercials and gags in Ratchet and Clank? It sounds pretty similar.

  • holy crap. i never knew that promo voice was you. great range you've got there!

  • Oh man, I so flunk at recognizing your voice overs!! (hangs head in shame) But you are SO great to post these vids! <3 Bring on Part 5!

  • "Fringe"? That show's awesome! I didn't know you did a promo auditiion for that! =D

  • Hmm Granny Green apples, I should use that thanks for the information I can tell that to stage actors I know. :)

  • Amazing work :D love the batman smells bit. hehe

  • Glad you're still uploading these!

    This is awesome!

  • HAHA!!! I love watching these!! "Jingle Bell, Batman....... Batman smells" LOL!! :) It looks like you have a ton of fun with your work. I want to be an animator..... or maybe a voice over..... I don't know. I do both on a show that I make...... and I play Obi-Wan!! :D

  • @AhsokaTano14 I agree, after singing the Batman smells for almost my whole life, it's challenging to get out of the habit. Wait, Ahsoka?

  • @SpexGuy1118 Yes I learned that song when I was nine, by bro was in Cub Scouts and some of the boys in my class were in it with him and in a Chatsworth Christmas parade they taught us the song..... it is so funny!

  • @AhsokaTano14 I learned from the Batman cartoon in the 90's.

  • James, I love these. You are awesome.

  • "Jingle Bell, Batman Smell-" lol

I could see anyone making that kind of mistake when people sing Jingle Bells. XD

Once again, I always like these videos you put up James. I cannot wait what you have in store for part 5.

  • I was just wondering if you were going to do more of these Videos Mr. Taylor, and surely there is another!

    ~!Sarah Gabrielle McNair!~

  • you know, as I delve more into the field of VO to get a better grasp of it, I tend to find myself looking at examples of what you do in terms of work for commercials, tv shows, etc. Now when I watch something on TV with friends of mine, I just tell them, "Oh hey! That's James Arnold Taylor! I know that guy!"..... They continue to look at me in a somewhat odd fashion saying to themselves, "....what?" hahaha

  • loved seeing these they're so wicked and amazing great work!! simply brillant!

  • JAT - Just wanted to say great work on the Back to the Future Video Game as Young Emmett...even though it took me forever to solve one of the labratory puzzles and I had to hear you yelling at me and emphasizing words in the background for a good five minutes. Haha.

  • Lovin the wee goatee you're rocking, making you that little bit more like obi-wan :)

  • woah, that was intense.

  • This line of work looks really fun to do, and I'm glad I discovered it. I'm getting decent recognition for my YouTube voice-over work, and I really hope to be in the professional business someday.

  • I really love you as young Emmett Brown :)

    Just had to say that.

  • @Traivlin Ditto..... Shame we couldn't see him doing the dialogue, would've been interesting..

  • My dream is to be a voice actor, I hope I can reach my goal like you did.

  • Batman. Hahahaaaa.
