that way is good for when ur starting but the way i got my cards going really fast is i use a scissor grip. i use my two finger to cut across the top and throw it like a curveball. instead of doing a half circle moition. bring ur hand back up to about ur ear and bend ur wrist. throw ur arm forward and snap ur hand outward and the card will go faster. to get what im talking about search up Rick Smith Jr.

Its easier this way:

Put the card between your midle-finger and the finer next to thumb (i dont remember the name of the finger was it index finger? i dont know.. im finnish and im blonde! :P) and put it so that the cards side touches your palm and throw it like a frisbee, really easy and works always!

Try more spin, and making sure to flick the wrist. There is very little follow-through on a card throw. Also make sure that the card is about parallel to the ground before releasing.

Here's some not quite so rude advice:

1. Next time you make a card throwing video, DON'T HAVE A FAN ON. Even if it's moving very slowly, it can have major effects on the speed and accuracy of the cards.

2. That grip is not great. Due to the angle, you get a lot less momentum and spin on the card than you would with the Jay grip. I suggest you learn it.

The cards are different sizes because it's made by a different company. Bicycle red and blue are exactly the same size, the rider style i mean. If it were different sizes then 1/2 my magic tricks wouldn't work

dude man.. i've been throwing cards for 2 days and i can throw'em a hell lot better than you can. not to be bragging but really. and yea.. you've got no target, its jus random throwing. i got 1 friend who can pierce watermelons and another who can throw'em for almost a block and a half distance. but your method doesn't apply to us. our way is a lot more powerful.

for some reson i can do the jay grip or the ricky smith jr or any of those combinded with the overhead yatz throw. can u tell me why but for the moment i can get amazing results with the top grip and yatz throw
