  • just senseless!

  • I just subscribed to you - nice video

  • I call it amazing when they invent a remote control that works on woman!

  • The only thing cooler than that fridge is that damn mustache. Men kill others for a stache as that.

  • wowwwwwwwwwww

  • double hinge, simple but very effective for when your drunk (Y)

  • uuuuhhhh wwhhhaaa ddeeerr yea ooookay and and and huh alrighty then!!!!

  • thats awesome!

  • This is made for the case the owner moves and the layout of kitchen changes. It's a fridge for small family or single who often move. Now the majority of Japanese family-type fridge is bigger then 400L with double door for Refrigerating compartment. Recently my family had a new HITACHI fridge and it is so nice. Moisture controlling and Quick freezing really works.

  • Nothing new, America had dual latch refrigerators in the fifties, but it never really caught on. As usual japs copy American ideas and claim it as their own.

  • @myschwettyballs ;as color tv?

  • This would be great for left-handed people.

  • my cousins (in japan ) has on of those

  • i had one in japan too but i think they have them lots of countrys, remember something like that in sweden too

  • who cant open a refrigerator door though... seriously?

  • *door pops off* good thing its at the store.

  • my dad bought one of these ten years ago. harder to open and close but never get the wrong side.

  • and smile :P

  • The mustache is what's truly amazing.

  • Thank you. I no longer have it, but the comments keep rolling in. Peter Griffin once said "with great mustache comes great responsibility." I live my life by that creed.

  • Wont the door come off

  • No. Some sort of mechanism latches one side the moment you open the other. The feel is just like any other fridge - I don't know how they do it. That's why I called it amazing.

  • I had one of this. Very convenient, as you can put it in any corner. However, it is not popular in Japan. It seems all makers have stopped production for this type.

  • wtf? no way!!!

  • wow no way sooo amazing~!!!!!

  • lol u can now hit a burglar in a comical fashon form any side of yr fridge

  • LOL

  • It's a refrigerator on one side and a freezer on the other! xD jk

  • Put something in it to see if it dissappears on the other side like in thoose magictricks.

  • lol i need that fridge i keep making mines fall XD

  • LOL. wow.

  • omg i cant decide on which side to open

  • i like how you think

  • lol xD

  • What happens if you pull both sides at the same time?

  • *self destruct in five seconds... 5....4....

  • I wonder the same question

  • it won't let you

  • ...If this fridge needs electricity to hold the door on, what happens when the power goes out?

  • da door sticks to fridge only coz of magnetic field dude....go n get ur self educated..electri doesn't hav anything to do here....

  • I call it, the smart refrigerator.

  • oh, I have a same one. The small part with 3 bottons and a view window has the feature for heating, warming, cooling, makeing freeze, kitchen timer and others.

  • and that's when you get angry and FUCKING RIP THE ENTIRE DOOR OFF!!!

  • 日本人からみても凄いね

  • japanese karamitemo somethin' ine? O_o~? XD Dat's all, folks! As far as I understand what the crap you wrote anyways, hahaha! (rofl)

  • thats all I got outa that too haha

  • he kinda looks like borat...

  • he is fucking hot!!!!!

  • You are blind.

  • liked the reaction just like cat's meooow!!!

  • omfg

  • thats not good if you have no electricity

  • dont think any fridge is good without electricity to be honest

  • Yeah, but your power goes out for a second and your fridge door crashes into the floor.

  • your forgetting something... these are electro magnets not electric magnets

  • tyoske, electromagnets need electricity to work... thats why they are called "ELECTROMAGNETS"

  • it's not electronic that system. it's just an excelent example of creativity, all that uses is a couple of pins on each side and some narrows that is all, simple and elegant

  • huh thats old, we've had one since 2000

  • nice mo

  • o.o

  • He is so sexy and hot!

  • Is it possible for the door to come off if you try both sides at once??? these are the things i ponder.

    lol

  • no you cant

  • lol

  • That feature has been around for quite some time in Asia. I saw the commercial for that similar type of fridge during my primary school years. It's still looks awesome though.

  • フレディマーキュリー乙

  • 大事なことなので二回言いました。

  • Japan has the best gadgets cos ever since their army was limited they concentrated all their funds into research and technology

  • I know!! IF USA or ALL THE COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD WOULD STOP FUNDING STUPID FUCKING MILITARY, THE WORLD WOULD ADVANCE AND BE A MUCH BETTER PLACE!!

  • for your information, most of the advance comfort we got for today was DEVELOP by the U.S MILITARY, from COMPUTER to MICROWAVE to laptop, to JEEP.

  • not really, most of the army technology is secret for matters of national security.

  • oh it will be release as long as it have commercial use few decade later. Remember the first computer ? was develop to calculate missiles by U.S military . :)

  • same with the internet it was used by the military first

  • Japan always has cool gadgets

  • Magnetism. The greatest natural occurance on planet Earth.

  • pull both sides at the same time, lol

  • wait a minute....

if u pull both sides, da door will come off?

  • No. That's what's so amazing. You can only open one side or the other. It automatically locks the other side the instant you pull on either end.

  • Damnit.

I need to move to japan.

  • WTF STOP DOING BLACK MAGIC! THATS JUST IMPOSSIBLE!! seriously, its amazing but who thinks of this stuff? lol

  • This was made by SHARP 20years ago. it may not be export from japan. Please check SHARP SITE.

  • Your emotion is funny man XD

  • Thanks, I was going for comic book gameshow host. It helps that my mustache was growing out of control and my wife was squeeling like an injured cat.

  • It opens very easily from either side, but you can't open both sides at once (meaning you can't pull the door off.) The mechanism is very quick, but I don't know exactly how it works.

  • We just came back from Japan & had one of these in our hotel suite. Yes, it is very useful. This was set in a space where opening from both sides was extremely convenient. I'd really like to find one of these that also includes the ice cube maker (no water hook-up) here.

  • i admire japanese technology ......trully advanced.....state of the art.....they are the best.......in the World...i travelled to their country and its trully amazing compared to others.

  • sweet, but is it really useful?

japanese are so technical they forget about passion, which can be good and bad

  • Do you feel any passion to see this video?

Can you imagine how much engineer spend to make it?

Or how kids react to see this?

    You are sick idiot.

  • Wow i think you need a schrink or some takistar..

first of all, kids learn to coop with it, what we may think is normal, may not be normal to our parents??? And the frase: Do you feel any passion to see this video??? ITS YOUTUBE, what are YOU doin here??? playing solitare??? I think they only spent a few hundreds, its probably only some wires and sensors, and a bright idea. I bought 3 refrigerators in my life, all with the door opening the "wrong" way. And yes i am sick , got the flu yesterday

  • Can you just take the whole door off? :P

  • That thing looks dinky... ._.;

  • haha lol SWEET!!!!

  • That lady sounds like a cat we had at the hospital.

    "weeeeow."

  • haha

  • does any one know a website you can order this off .. i also saw the completely clear refrigerator and the clear washing machine .. if any one knows where i can order these online or call the company directly .. let me know

  • what if u take both side off???

  • pwnage

  • wouldn't it be a little hard to pull it?

it's strong enough to support one side but both?

  • when you pull one side the hinges support the other half from i think magnets?

  • No it's a lot more complicated. I used to have one of these double hinged things on my car center console. When one side is opened it automatically closed off the other side so it can swing. I can't really tell you in any more detail.

  • He is so cute.

  • coo but if its electromagnet wat happens when your gettin a drink from your fridge and then you have a powercut...?????????...broken toes????????!!!!!!!!!!???????

  • its normal here in japan

  • I believe its magnetic stuff.

When u pull one side, the magnetic field on the other get stronger.. stron enough to hold the door. with Combination of two strong magnets, u wont be able to pull off both at the same time.

    Thats just my "theory" ;D

  • Greet! I belive "panasonic" "sony" "Toshiba"

  • my fridge can do that, though I think it's broken hinges, not electromagnetic ones

  • ahahaha it`s cool

  • like those wallets!

  • 通称:どっちもドア

    結構一般的です

  • hmmm... if you pull both sides does the door fall of? =D

    i guess there's a security system or such >.>

  • I assure you, it won't work. I've already tried.:D

  • I actually saw these for the first time when I lived in Japan in the early '90s. Surprised they still haven't caught on here in the U.S.A. Just wanted to share them with the world. -PNWShawn

  • Yeah, I believe Toshiba was the first one.

  • u have to wait for another 40 years, japan is 50 years ahead

  • These have been around for years, you can get them here in Australia, just not that popular.

  • wow.

  • great!

  • I live in Japan, but I've never seen this...

And wow, this is truly amazing!

Children are gonna love it for a while after they got this, haha.
