what i really meant was..we need something to improve the quality of all the bands in malaysia. yes sji was great. they got the guts to show what were they capable of. that's the spirit that needs to be applied to all. not all bands can have the sound like asma, so why not improve on other elements like CG, effects ect..
Asma has shown that music in malaysia is up to par.. can compete with the rest of the world. but, in reality.. did they improve the standard of the industry but not having CGs ect..? the NATION NEEDS A BAND WITH TALENTS AND ALSO POTENTIALS..AND ALSO..GUTS TO SHOW WHAT ARE MALAYSIANS MADE OF!! well..i recommend you to read the wikipedia for marching band..see what it is consists of.. and compare with orchestral band..okay?
yg penting jury antarabangsa dah angkat asma band as the best from malaysia. vi do hv CG but honestly, aku rase effect x smpi. dr segi performance, walopon asma xde CG tp formasi n sound projection memg power n sampai kat audience. wt makes vi's show kureng is the theme selection. korang terikat ngan tema yg bagi aku x menjadi... sorry..
asma prac for 1 1/2 year just for kedah,nat and klwmbc. I think thats a "good strategy". if you notice, asma only compete once in 2 to 3 seasons! i've heard that some band like bodindecha,vi and st. joseph only prac for a month but still get a good results!!
thats y.viccb got everything already.asma dont have all the pit perc and colourguard yet u guys lost to them.and for the record your show is kinda boring. i kinda like kecewa with u guys.
