it doesn't take much mojo to call a rough take rough. But it takes balls of steel to attempt singing while playing such a busy guitar part; and not stripping it down to open chords like 99% of all coffeeshop-singers ever.

in my opinion, you pulled off a topnotch cover of a song that was a bit out of your comfort zone on guitar, kept on driving through the ruts, and proved that it takes time to perfect a badass rendition of a song, so why waste it performing a perfectly mediocre one? rock on.

I saw him perform this at a local open mike years ago (Mocha Moo-Tacoma), and he really impressed me. Cool singing, cool guitar playing. I like how it sounds just slightly sloppy, but he's perfectly in tune, and hitting all the right notes. Great Job!
