Bloody hell! Why is there so much hate for the queen? I know the monarchy doesn't mean the same now as it did in the olden days but it brings tourism and we may pay taxes for them but we earn so much more money back for it. The queen is an inspirational, honourable person who represents our country so anyone insulting her can fuck right off. Roger federer is adorable though :3

I don't get it. How does the government system work in Britian. And why is the royal family so respected. I'm just wondering you know. Would be nice if someone can explain it to me.

@AZIANxPRIDE1 The Royal Family is respected because they do a lot of good for our country and without them we'd be France with less impressive food. The Queen has no active political role but a passive one through her prerogative. The Church, Government, Judiciary and most institutions (technically) belong to her and she acts as both a separation of powers and while binding them together. She only intervenes in court cases when the Royal Family is involved. Like the Ultimate Civil Servant.

Why is it so special that the Queen visits? Does she live in isolation or something like that? :S In the Netherlands, the royal family goes everywhere to support the Dutch in World Championships, Olympics, etc. Why is it in England so special?
