Wrong my friend. First name on any piece of legislation is the author of that particular piece or proposal. Obama's name on that document only shows that he helped sponsor that piece of legislation. He didn't come up with that idea, his name only says that he is willing to support that piece of legislation and will help push it through on his side of the isle

I researched to my friend. Obama has written some pieces of legislation, but to this day has only gotten 5 pieces of them to a full vote. One was to congratualte the white sox for wining the world series. To get the senate to recognize juneteenth, and designate july 12 as national learning day! This thread was merely to keep people honest. If Palin or yourself would like to argue that Obama only wrote a few pieces of legislation, I have no problem with that. It is a good argument against Obama and his character, albeit only one argument. If, however, one was to argue that Obama hadn't authored or coauthored ANY piece of legislation, that is different and incorrect. This is still different from saying that Obama hadn't done ANYTHING in the senate, which would also be incorrect.
As far as whether or not I want Obama to be president: I'm not sure yet. I agree with much of his rhetoric and plans for the future: far more than I agree with Mccain's, which will contribute to my decision. I agree that Obama hasn't done much authoring in the Senate, and that will also contribute to my decision. I must do more research and see them in debate before I make a decision. And if I may say, your videos also help me in this regard.

Her speech was very good. I don't know if it was any better than Obama's, but it certainly is a step in the right direction for redemption of the Bush administration. I'll be excited to see how the debates pan out in the coming months.

This thread was merely to keep people honest. If Palin or yourself would like to argue that Obama only wrote a few pieces of legislation, I have no problem with that. It is a good argument against Obama and his character, albeit only one argument. If, however, one was to argue that Obama hadn't authored or coauthored ANY piece of legislation, that is different and incorrect. This is still different from saying that Obama hadn't done ANYTHING in the senate, which would also be incorrect.

As far as whether or not I want Obama to be president: I'm not sure yet. I agree with much of his rhetoric and plans for the future: far more than I agree with Mccain's, which will contribute to my decision. Her speech was very good. I don't know if it was any better than Obama's, but it certainly is a step in the right direction for redemption of the Bush administration. I'll be excited to see how the debates pan out in the coming months.

And as far as the "disruption" at the RNC goes, you'll have to ask the person who did it why. I personally think it probably has something to do with a lack of respect for their opponents and a "rights are only for me" attitude. There is a time and place for protest. It's one of our rights, but that was clearly a fearful, "attack" and quite honestly, is a disgrace to the Democratic party. Tarnishes one of the things Dems claim they stand for and that being... EQUALITY.

I have never forgotten how many times I stood in front of former gang members and helped them get jobs and stay out of trouble. i will never forget when I volunteered at soup kitchens to help people less fortunate to me even though I only had 5 dollrs to my name!
