@1stpltpkmnTR Personally, I think it's the best out of the sinnoh starters. it IS a bit slow, but Earthquake is super-effective against both infernape AND Empoleon. Empoleon has Drill Peck, sure but it gets no S.T.A.B because Empoleon is a Wter-STEEL type. Not a Water/Flying. Infernape definitley has stab boost over Toreterra, but still, a nice Earthquake should change that right up.
