  • @dktate Hamilton Loomis is actually my neighbor. No lie. It's awesome

  • Hamilton is from Houston, Texas and was mentored by Bo Diddley, His sax player is from Lake Charles, LA and is incredible!.....mmmmmmmm........ ; /"

  • this young man was mentored by none other than bo diddley (according to bluesville on sirius radio) he is going to be one of the greats. just another kid from texas.

  • We took our Chicago friends to a Baton Rouge club last weekend. Hamilton is talented with a whole lot of charisma. The sax guy really blows (in a good way.) Very fun and entertaining band. I really hope they hit that single, so everybody can know about them. Keep it up boys!

  • So I met this guy @ 3 a.m. one morning...his bro-in-law was totally drunk, and dragged him outta bed to meet me. I had no idea who he was @ the time, but THANK YOU BILLY TAYLOR for introducing me to this blues MASTER!!!

  • Worlds greatest guitar players. In no particular order Edward Van Halen, JImmy Hendrix, Frank Zappa, Ty Tabor, Hamilton Loomis, Jeff Beck. etc etc. Oh and Hamilton can sing a bit as well. Yo Yo Yo!

  • Awesome

  • Saw him at the local jam in Chicago with the impromptu band - one of the best live performances ever. Great guy! Great musician - let's spread the word - the guy deserves to be famous. And rich - wishing him well!

  • first time i saw hamilton was at the blue festival in bridgetown perth australia hes was rocking

  • This guy wails!!! I saw him and the band in Fruita (yea, look it up...its in Western Colorado) at the Thursday night concert series....OMG been hooked ever since!

  • The first time I saw Hamilton Loomis play was at the now defunct Astroworld in Houston, TX. It was hotter than Hell that day and the wax insulation melted out of the back of his Les Paul and got all over his nice silk shirt. This could be that very same guitar...

  • Hi detharp. I took the following from his web site.

"Yes, it's a vacuum cleaner" is my most repeated phrase at shows lately. I wanted to play harp and guitar, but with the same "Chicago-style" dirty tone. I found a vacuum cleaner attachment at my folks' house in and the harp fit right in it! Chip Todd made a connector for me and now it fits on the end of my Shaker mic (dynamic). I play Hohner Spl 20 harps mainly, and occasionally Golden Melodys. I play harp through a Line 6 Mini POD,

  • what, hell ,is that mike he is blowin on that fantastic harp?sounds fat fat fat n nasty!

  • a lesson in what blues and all music should be!

  • Hamilton has such a passion for blues :) The man is possessed hehe. His vocals have gotten so strong over the years!
