I wish folks had jumped, too. No one did during the time that I watched. It might be that it was concrete all around, and folks just weren't sure how much structural integrity the contraption offered, and didn't want to fall on their butts on the concrete.

And the reason the kid lost was because he dragged his foot so the trampoline thought he hit it again. You can see the light flash again when he moves to the yellow tramp.
