Heidi is NOT german.. she is from Maienfeld in Switzerland, so says Johanna Spyri, the lady who wrote the story...

Also, there arent many real mountains in germany, only a few in the south..

And for the arab music... it seems this version of the story develops in the Hindukush mountains... If you look closely you might see some Taliban fighters behind the rocks...
