  • I have a 98 with the 4.6 and the 3.55 gears and I can't get it to do that unless its wet out, any suggestions for doin that on dry pavement? Haha

  • @coochiemama511

Try putting in 1st gear and not holding the brakes so hard.

  • Actually I didn't!!!!!

  • he just put some oil on the tires!! thats it...

  • i have this truck and im 15 lol cant wait to get my license

  • @chancerbob95 same thing dude but i have a 99 and i cant wait to get my liscense either

  • @MrZachattack96 haha cool, mine is just like this except this guy has different rims and mine has chrome rails on the sides of the bed

  • mine has dual traction(posy) and is a 5.4. Recently I learn to do that, I had to play with the brake and hard acceleration and brake again... hahaha I love it....

  • hahahahaha meee 2 imposible 2 burn ruber on 4.6 no matter what you dooo!!! unles you throw a super chrager on it fooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I WANT TO SEE A CHEVY OR GMC DO THAT!!!!FORD ALL THE WAYYYYY

  • @sinaloamendivil

a stock 4.6 burnout .. your acting like no vechicle can do a burnout but a ford, clearly dumb

  • what did u did to burn out did u modified the motor because i had one 98 and its not riding to burn

  • i had a 98 4.6 in good condition and its not posible to burnout what did you did?

you modified the motor?or something else?

  • @optimusprime897

Try not putting so much pressure on the brake and drop the tranny into 1st gear.

  • @Supercrewzin01 Get it spining and then let off slow on the brake tgreat i dea to get the rpms up but try to keep it from rolling until they get up to 4k or so then release, the hoter u get the tires the easyier they spin. Not a great idea tho gone threw 3 rearends and there 2 grand a peice good thing it was coverd.

  • @optimusprime897

are you serious? my 4.6 fries the tires. you must be either doing it wrong or your motor just doesnt work that great.

  • @optimusprime897 you kidin me, i used to do burnouts in my moms minivan until she sold it, and yes they were break stands with smoke and all

  • @optimusprime897 i got an 03 with a 4.6. did that in drive. hold the brake down all the way then when they start spinning let off a little the let the whole thing go.

  • @optimusprime897 my 4.6 can do a burnout like that with 200k miles

  • its not a 4.6 its 5.4

  • @alejandroschmitt13

    It was a 4.6, not the 5.4.

  • No, only one tire did.

  • did both tires spin? just curious, I have the same truck

  • i got a 99 excab and lov e iove it one of the best riding trucks i drove

  • It was stock when I had it, and it has the 4.6L V8.

  • what mods does this truck have??

  • Comment removed

  • 1997 and 1998 are the best ones i have a 1997 i love it and plus its the first year of the model so its a classic to me..lol

  • ohh yeah i got a 97 u should go check it out its blue i think ud like it , reg cab short bed 4.6 v8 modded a little

  • no.... my 06 is much "BETTER" than your old 97

  • my favorite ford trucks are any one f100 or f150 from 1961 to 1986. although i do like my dads 98 f150 body style and the svt lightnings.

  • nice burnout. my dad has a 98 f150 with a 5.4. i drive it sometimes. i agree from 2004 on up to 2010 ford f150's are not that good looking at all and some of them are just plain ugly. i like the f250's better than f150s in the newer styles. but i will take a ford forever over chevrolet or dodge or toyota or nissan or honda or whatever else.

  • agreed.... i got a 98 too... mine is the 4.6 off road 4x4 stepside shortbed though and i got a 3" body lift and 35s... i love it!!

  • extended cab

  • man oh man what a truck...same truck but black

  • they fucked the f150 up after 96!

  • no........they didnt fuck up until 2004. then they really fucked up with the brand new ones.

  • 1998 is my fav year for the f150s

  • Why so especial about this year? at this truck?

  • b/c i have driven lots of f150s (my family is ford all the way) and for some odd reason i just think that the 98s are the most solid, and that generation's body style is cool.

  • @BeboAltizer 1998-2003 f150's are shit.

  • I got the same truck except its 5.4 v8

  • how many miles u got on that

  • great burn, did u drop the shifter into 1st or leave it in drive because those tires are really movin and i doubt u got to 2nd or 3rd

  • all of you talking about yours not breaking loose...try it with a low tank of gas to start and try it with less break and just stomp it. my f150 has 265/70/17s and it will break them loose easily (97 5.4 4x4 with slight mods)

  • The back breaks lock up when you just do the powerbreak, so once you get a little bit higher rpm you have to let go of the break just a hair to get the tires to break lose...

  • I have a 1998 F-150 with the 4.6L. But mine wont do a brake torque either.. I bet he used bleach cause thats more smoke that a normal mustang burnout...

  • different tires=more or less smoke.

  • my 2000 f-150 xlt 7700 4x4 with a 5.4 in it wont do a brake stand. what the hell?? the truck is in perfectly good shape and low km's, any suggestions???

  • turbo 4.6? what an idiot. theres no turbo on this

  • i have the same truck

    nice burnout

  • badass burnout

  • turbo 4.6...

  • 2002. if your's ha a limited slip that may be the difference, mine doesnt. only my right rear wheel can get spinning, but barely.

  • 3.33 what gears do you have

  • wish my 4.6 could do that, i got the high 3.33 highway gears so i lucky to get the back right tire to spin.

  • 3.33? what year do you have
