@ucla4eva Do you even have any knowledge of the game they play in heaven? One man cannot win a Rugby World Cup alone, there are 14 other players on the ground who need to contribute. Thus, judge accurately before you post an immature comment to describe the most iconic player who changed how we view the game today and for the years to come...
Jonah Lomu was pretty good. Tongans must be proud. They are all giants like him. Why are there so many Tongans in New Zealand even in the states they are becoming really good football players
Whether Lomu scored tries against Aus or SA or whoever is irrelevant. People say this as if this makes him less of a player - bullshit. Jeff Wilson scored great tries vs SA. Different skills sets, different opportunities. Lomu instrumental in setting up tries against SA and other nations etc . . .etc . . . He also dominated Aus everytime he played them scoring tries and setting others up. Shame about the kidney issues. Also, only rugby player to have a truly global brand (Jonny Wilkinson?)!
I agree. What was Lomus' W/L record? It is a team sport. If you concentrate effort to stop me, and it allows my teammates to carry us to victory...I'm thrilled. I'm sure Lomu feels the same.

Na Lomu was never able to score a try against S.A. im not completly sure but i think S.A is the only country that takes part in the rugby world cup that lomu didnst score against, he also strugld scoring against Aus but he did get a few against them.
All of the above is true. But never the less He was a monster with great rugby skills, and would have given us load more great rugby moments ,if it wasnt for he's kidneys
i remember playing him in college, he played 4 wesley and i played 4 ccnz, we played them twice that year, the first time we played them he didnt play and we smashed them, and in the second game he played and we got owned just by him! lol Awsome player on the feild and an even greater person off the feild. OH and he played no.8 at school level, well he did in that game.
How long was Lomu playing for the All Blacks? I know it was his kidney problems that forced his retirement but I'm never sure if it was premature reirement or if he had already reached the age where he was not guarenteed a place anymore.
Classic Polynesian winger though, huge, could probably play in the back row, but just so fast as well.
he was playin for cardiff blues for a season a year or two back...then he hurt his ankle...he was past his best at that point and i think he's gna hang his boots up
Yup, definitely was Lomu! But no, not an ABs cap. The team was the classic all blacks. More info in the description and theres also another vid i saw on YT of him making a run during the game.
jonah lomu is a proper all black legand. im from ireland and i think he was 1 of the best ever 2 play the game..would see jonah dumping a fellow player on his head. proper rugby great.
yeah it was awesome to see him play one last time. a bit sad to see him puffing around the place though. hes lost all his stamina. but he did stay on the field in 35deg heat for a very long time!
when he was at his best he was unstopable.. he had teams beaten before the game even started.. he was like a steam train.. fukin unbelievable player..
You guyz do no that he finished in 2002??????? lol
