these all sound really good. i tend to forget about this whole realm of problems associated with school. as soon as you're out, you conditioned to forget that bad stuff ever happened. its really scary actually. frightening...
I haven't read the Unschooling Unmanual yet, though I want to get my hands on it at some point... Another book with a great collection of articles on unschooling is Life Learning: Lessons From the Educational Frontier.
teen liberation handbook is awesome... i have a copy for myself and my son.
great list! we're lead to believe our schools are suppose to serve people and prepare our youth for a good life... but in reality they only serve our economy - acting as a flood gate pumping out people with zero skills and zero survival value - perfect for mindless factory work or work as servants.
Wow! It's soo cool to hear you connected with catzie. Of course, I resonate with this. Some of these books I'd like to pick up. Maybe I should start listing these suggestions on IshThink.

Hey, if I didn't know it, I'd suspect Jean-Jacques Rousseau was an 'anarcho-primitivist' from Eugene Oregon- the Discourse on Inequality I mean.
But on the topic of Education- read book four of Emile. that's some radical stuff.
