He should play at the Mississippi John Hurt Blues Festival this July 4th in Avalon, MS.

I'm almost 100% sure he won't be there. Almost no professional musicians ever attend the festival. Its very small and run by John Hurt's granddaughter. I am playing there this year. But the folks in Avalon would go nuts if this guy played there. They'd love it.

You're right, he won't be there. His tour schedule says he'll be at the Mariposa Folk Festival in Ontario July 4th. But give him a heads-up, maybe he'll make plans to attend in the future? And cheers to A MJ John Hurt Festival!
