the idea was to get the lit bomb for a bonus, easy for first 2-3 rounds, you don't seem to have got this concept

didnt know it was on amiga. I played C64. All I can say is that Amiga version sucks.

@JasonLee215 Not true at all .. the gameplay on amiga is just a big joke. the character doesn't move the same in arcade and amiga (amiga version doesn't take the joystick up/down position in account when jumping, making it a pain in the ass to maintain bomjack in the air or just move horizontally), the bomb order is not the same as well , and many bombs are not placed at the same positions.

It's hard to even believe that this is an amgia game. Even the atari 800 version looks and sounds better.

This version sucks. I hate Elite fro making such a crappy conversion - they could have made a PERFECT conversion....well apart from the fact that the screen resolution isn't large enough, mind you they could've made a version where you had to rotate your TV! Or they could have scaled it somehow. It's just shit and the speccy version was better!

be happy with what you got. It's not a "bad" version because it's a bad game, you just say it's bad because it doesn't kick other platforms ass. It was still a nice game, stand alone, on the Amiga. Forget what other platforms versions looked like.

Agreed. It's not a terrible game in it's own right (I did play it a fair amount). I'm still annoyed by the fact that I plated the speccy version first and found it MUCH more fun and addictive than the amiga version. Conversions should have been about getting the game as close to the original as possible and this version failed miserably...and it could've been SOOOOOOOO much better.

@Rheinmetall1974 We had a computer called the Spectrum in the UK too, but it didn't have very good games. The colours were horrid and the sound was virtually non-existent
