I can't believe that one reporter compared marijuana to opiates as a "gateway drug" that leads to heroine and other drugs! If marijuana was offered by physicians instead the opiates that they offer, that would lead to people not alternatively turning to heroine or pill abuse. That's how alot of heroine addicts admittedly get started. And "pills kill" so it is not a good treatment to use when marijuana can benefit the patient instead of a drug with deadly side-affects.

Marijuana is not 100% safe, but we don't these laws against the personal use of it. We might as well criminalize wet bathroom floors if we're going to be that stupid.
