Rooting just allows you admin support. Meaning you can delete apps that you normally cannot. You can also dload an app so you can use your tethering ability for free instead of the 30 sprint wants you to pay to be a mobile hot spot

@tkid and everyone else who asks..when a phone has been reported stolen specially from Sprint it cannot be reactivated through Sprint at all!! I lost my phone reported it stolen, then found it and tried to activate it and they would not do it, the esn is marked bad.

@omar1146 My Phone Did The Same Exact Thing, What You Need To Do Is Buy A Chip To Plug Into Your USB Connection... I've Got Sandisk. They're Called Adapters. And You Take Your Memory Card Out Of Your Phone Then Put In The Adapter. And Then You're Able To Mess With It, And Take Off The Root. Then Put It Back In Your Phone And Turn It On. Whatever You Do, Do Not Take It Into Sprint. They'll Red Flag It And You Can No Longer Use It.

google it. If your not rooted your getting jipped. Wifi tethering, fast evo, long lasting battery, full flash, basically lets you have full control over your phone. Just make sure you research before hand or youll be lost.
