  • Only thing I've done to my taco is a K&N intake and headers, I'd like to do more, but I got a regular cab, and I really would like a crew cab atleast.

  • That's sick dude. I gotta a 99 with the 3.4 and have been wanting to to the same with mine but can't decide on what i wanna get for it. Thanks for the demonstration.

  • props on everthing man, i barely started wokin on my 01 tacoma, from the looks of it, you put some good cash in that, keep it up man

  • how much did all this cost and whered u get it?

  • hey bro where did you get that custom box for the subs? and what kind of subs and what size were they?

  • dude that sounds great my buddie has a yoda to. ill pass the word on.

  • It took me 9 hours to get the headers installed! :O And I got shorties yours look like long tubes

  • did you end up cutting the cross over pipe? I remember I did. Yea they are a pain, but they are worth it. Mine are shorties too, made by JBA. So you enjoying them?

  • yeah had to get the cross over

ahhh. I have had them for a little bit and I love them. I got gibson chrome. Wish I would have gotten ceramic but it was 4 bills more.

Have you taken your resignators out? I want to take mine out but I am not 100% sure where it's located.

  • I have no resignators on my vehicle. I am pretty sure that the stock setup doesn't have a resignator, but it has dual cats. Now I have only one cat. But now that you have the headers, it is totally with it to get bigger pipe and a new muffler if you don't have them already. Are you considering forced induction in the future?

  • yeah what kind of muffler/" of piping do you suggest?

I want to take out both cats but yeah right there is no way that is happening, NO ONE will do it.

  • @ghettoboy7649 They're called "resonators"

  • Dude Once Again Major Props to your Truck!

was wondering how does that throttle body spacer perform?

does it make an annoying whistle when you floor it?

I hear alot about them but never experienced one myself

Anyways BadAss is all I gotta say Bro!

  • props to your tacoma it looks nice

but how you get your 2 10" subs to fit in the back of your seat??

been trying to do that on mines but nobody can do it...

  • check out my vids I got a 12 with a huge box back there it fits perfect.

  • what kind of gas mileage are you getting with the upgrades? and what was it before? also have you noticed a significance upgrade in performance? thanks

  • oh ok thats very helpful

  • Just wanted to give you props!! for the awesome job you did with all the upgrades. I'm amateur and have the almost the same truck, would you mind sending me the list of upgrades and the prices? my taco is 4cyl.

    thanx

  • Sorry it has taken me soooooo long to respond to your comment.

List of Parts At The Point That The Video Was Taken Are As Follow: (the truck has been altered since the video)

AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake- $250

    Airaid Throttle Body Spacer- $100

    JBA Headers Kit- $650

    Gibson Exhaust System- $400

    Flowmaster Super 40 Muffler- $90

*I know they make similar parts for the 4 cyl but I am not 100% sure that they have all the parts listed above. Hope this is some help and good luck!

  • magnaflow...!

  • Sick Tacoma dude... I got an 02 tacoma Extra Cab V6. How much was that intake for it and was it a direct bolt-on install?

Did you notice any performance gain from the air intake?

  • the intake is direct bolt on...it is an AEM Brute Force series intake...i did notice some performance gain but the greatest thing was the sound that comes out of the intake...it gives the truck a much deeper and throatier sound under the hood because the intake silencer is removed during install...overall it is a great buy, and i would recommend it.

  • you dont get much HP from it but your powerband is better. I have driven in a taco with an intake and it just lets you access all the torque and HP at a lower RPM

  • nice truck, man...I like how you keep all your installs and upgrades nice and clean...no wires hanging out and stuff just thrown in there all half-assed. Sweet tacoma.
