Hey guys, I LOVE the theme and the set as well as that big flashy board
and BTW, Rey Grundy is now 88 years old and this week is his birthday
Bruce Forsyth was a good host, but I still think that they should've put it on a better network like NBC rather than abc, IMO
and BTW, during the 85/86 Season, abc had The Super Powers Team: Galatic Guardians, The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, The Bugs Bunny Looney Tunes Comedy Hour, Pink Panther & Sons as well as Diff'rent Strokes and Who's the Boss?
The show didn't last long likely because of the time slot it was in. It was competing against The Price is Right on CBS and Wheel of Fortune on NBC, so it didn't stand much of a chance.
British people hosting shows in America is a fine thing to see. It's a godd sense of two cultures coming together and having fun. Dawson was able to do that and eventually lost his accent to the point where we thought he was american.
Bruce Forsyth is very British to the point where he thinks that his charm and energy is the key. Long story short, he plays the :"british card" way too often.
The gam play is copy and paste elements from Pyramid, Go and Password.
Bruce Forsyth--THE BRITISH KING OF GAME SHOWS! I understand he hosts Strictly Come Dancing in England, the show that inspired the US show Dancing with The Stars.
wow! the UK coming together with the US, a good thing to see!

A Donahue promo? That's why KTRK in Houston didn't like Hot Streak.

"NICE!!!"
Very underrated show. This should've lasted longer here in America. :-)

Had it not been on ABC and against the TPIR and daytime WOF it would have.

Not to mention History I.Q. and WinTuition.
Marc did a whole lot more than fill cups past the line.

Can you post a Gene Wood announcing show?

It was cool to have Bruce host something here in the US.

Gene Wood, moonlighting from his Goodson gigs(he also announced Love Connection at times in the mid 80s) was the other announcer of this show.
