damn square enix why did they resurrected rufus who died in ffvii and not resurrect aerith ? and btw the way aerith died din´t made sense she died by sephiroth stabing her with the masamune even thought she was shot, slashed, etc.,etc. by the enemies of the game.

@cngowens in advent children, you hear tseng, elena, and reno heading to the northern crater. kadaj, one of the three seph remnants, attacks tseng and elena and takes their id's. in order to trick rufus into going along with them, kadaj throws the ids on the floor in front of him, covered in blood. that's why they are there.

I know a lot of people want Rufus to have more screen time. But I think his mysterious ways is what draws people into him from the very beginning. If he had a lot of screen time, then he won't appear as mysterious. Gawd I love that man xD

Gotta agree with you dude, even though I was really young back in the day when it first came out, I really loved the game, in fact I just recently downloaded it on my ps3, and still lovin it! =D

I don't think the graphics from the original game were "horrid", the backgrounds and FMVs were very good for their time (in fact FF7 was the first FF game to feature FMVs), the only thing bad about them was the character models, which even then looked a bit iffy... But mark my words, in ten years time we'll be looking back on today's graphics and laughing at how "bad" they seem, by the day's standards. The gameplay and story, however, will always be timeless.

Don't worry, I meant that entirely from a modern viewpoint and I understand that the game was very groundbreaking for its time. I love FF7 (if I didn't I wouldn't have made this) and I agree about the game play and story being timeless.

If people played ff7 for the graphics, well, no one would really play it. People my age [14/15] werent old enough for videogames like that back in 98, so obvisouly they seem ancient to us.

But people play the game for the brilliant story line, and who knows, maybe one day sqeenix will re-do the game and make it all pretty.

Thanks for the video. Love Rufus - when he revealed himself in AC woohoo! Sorry if it is a dumb question, but why does he sound and look like a cleaned up Sephiroth? 'Having the best time' which echoes Kadaj, 'a true son would have known' was I swear in Seph's voice , distained Seph 'huh' as he fell. Height, silver hair and looks - similar. Everything about him spoke Sephiroth(always on the brain :) I hope it isn't horribly obvious to everyone else. Am I nuts or what?
