How long does it take to die with full health? And what are those ''holy candles'' that I've heard about and where can you find them and how do you use them?

They are caused by the antagonist of the game. It's a long story, and you should probably try out the game instead of having me spoil it for you.

It depends on difficulty and proximity how much damage you receive from hauntings. They're not too deadly in general, since you are rarely forced to stay in close contact with them.

Holy candles are littered all over the game world. They're just items you pick up and can burn them near hauntings to exorcise them.

Well, the hauntings seem to cause headaches or other anguish to Henry. Your life slowly drains being close to the haunted objects, and eventually Henry just shouts and its game over.

I'm sure someone's already asked this and I just can't find it, but what's the haunting difference between taking or leaving the shabby doll walter offers you? I know that taking the shabby doll brings more hauntings than normal, but what exactly does that consister of?

so the phone doesnt count as a haunting? there is a number on a bilborad outside of the window with a nuber on it. if you call it you get some really creepy groaning and just demon sounds. pretty creepy stuff.

what does appear on TV hauning?

talking about the game I hear that you find some info about walter sullivan in SH2, also theres a empity cell that if you shoot it you´ll hear someone felling pain and some blood will fall on the floor, that´s wath I saw in a random video about SH2

Pretty ingenious idea--slowly turning the player's only safe haven against them, with the only exit locked. If only the story itself were as solid and engaging as SH2's. Well, that's my opinion anyways.

Though I think there isn't lot of randomness with the hauntings, 'cuz the 1st one for me was the windows too, then later the clock, TV (very scary), wall (with those red glitches and voice in IT!!) and then the ghost out of the wall. I never saw the haunting with Walter in the picture of your bedroom, Henry's dead body through the peephole or the Dolls (when you take one from Walter. I took one and put it in my gun's box but nothing happened!! Maybe 'cuz I played on easy?) :)

The only time when I got the "Walter in the painting"-haunting was during my 1.0-stars run, when I had to leave the game waiting in the apartment for about 8 hours.

In one of my saves, the TV haunting came during subway or forest 2nd time, which is relatively early (it's usually one of the last hauntings).

Hey, wait-the TV haunting came when I was in the subway-forest 2nd time for me too just like too. Well, I was playing on easy. I bet you played on easy too xD I got a 6.5 stars when finished the game and "Mother" ending-2nd place :) why did you leave the game?

They almost always begin with either the windows or the clock. I think there's some randomness involved.
