Man the cutscenes are so stylized, with the shiny corners on the mobile suits and everything. In game graphics just look kind of like Crossfire, but with improved frame rate. If only they tried to make it prettier, even some minor clever use of cel-shading could improve the visuals a lot. Just look at what Z.O.E. 2 did with it.

Look, dude, I am not a n00b, that Zaku is Red with the Crimson Lightnings Yellow Details, if you didn't see, take a closer look, or clean your screen. Not trying to be a dick, but, that looks like his Zaku.

well i re-watched and it looks like it has vary faint yellow detailing. It looks more of a Version Ka, or Riddens Zaku, as Ka' like's to fucking make everything blockier and different colored.

eh... that's a bit exagerated... Too much of one thing is bad...

All they'd need to do is stop focusing SO much on the OYW. UC has all kinds of other stuff in it. Zeta, ZZ, F-91, Char's Counterattack, even that crappy Sci-Fi quality movie are all in the UC universe. As is War in the Pocket, 08th MS Team (though both of them are technically during/at the end of OYW) and Stardust Memory. A token GP-01 isn't enough. Trust me, if they made games about these other series, but still UC, there'd be no need for the other timelines.

This looks pretty slick. I will admit I actually kind of enjoyed Target in Sight even though I it was absolutely atrocious.

Is this the same game that Bandai showed a few years ago at TGS? I saw it in 2007--they had a playable XBOX 360 Gundam game that was on-line multiplayer and looked pretty good. May have been Mobile Ops, but I'm not sure. I didn't get a chance to play it, though.  Never saw anything about it since.

This looks so much better than Crossfire and Operation Troy, it's also nice to know they assigned the right team for development. I still don't think that monoeye suit with the katana belongs, but it's so fucking awesome I can forgive it.

Cool, you should get the other two parts as well (the Efreet appears in the second game, which is probably why you didn't know about it). They're very good games and the team that made those went onto make the Dreamcast game "Rise from the Ashes", following that they also helmed a lot of the "good" Gundam games - you know the ones that never get released outside of Japan! They're known as Team White Dingo these days, after the protagonists in the Dreamcast game.

There's a few Saturn games I want anyway, so I might get an actual console to play them all on sometime in the future. I always hear about how Rise from the Ashes was one of the best games on the Dreamcast and when I saw it's cover on some site I was quite fascinated because I had only known about Gundam Wing up until that point (years ago of course). That's cool a name they've adopted for themselves after the best GM team.

It's a third person shoot-em-up but the lock-on is fixed, not manual. The older Blue Destiny games on the Saturn used this setup originally, before Armored Core was even released.
