I fed my dog 1/2 a mandrin orange twice a day and she managed to clear an infection in her lip from a cat bite. She is only 22 lbs, so you might need more for a larger dog. FYI, the vet mentioned that Vit C is good for preventing arthritis as well. Remember this for humans as well!

my dog only eats real foods, she wouldnt find kibble in her natural environment, why would it be harmful to her to eat fruits?

i use small pieces of fruits and veggies as treats like milkbones, that way milkbones are that much more awesome for her.

every dog ive had has been on a diet of natural foods (of course no spices, sweeteners, oils, etc) and every one has lived long happy lives.
