@CodyHenry1775 just correcting you so dont get butthurt, rangers arent required to go to ranger school, they are however required to go through RASP(ranger assesment and selection program) to join the regiment then after about a year or so if they want to be an nco, or rank up as an officer they go to Ranger school, one of the toughest schools that both ARMY and MARINES can go through but any army soldier can go to ranger school doesnt mean that they are rangers though
It takes a certain type of person to do what we do if you hesitate you or worse you buddys dead so i say let em talk shit cause we know what it takes to be a soldier and that is what we took the oath to do (what others cant or wont do)

There are things hes too shakin about to tell me to this day as he has recently been diagnosed with PTSD. Thank you for your 23 years of service Cheif Master Seargant. @TrueInnovator159 If you want to be a Green Beret... I suggest you study A Lot and Learn a Foreign Language so you can skip DLI training in the beginning of the process. The thing everyone Underlooks is the ASVAB, for 18Xray(Special Forces enlistment) you need a GT score of 107 or higher. If you go Airborne Infantry, you have to wait until you are an E4 for Special Forces selection. Good Luck. =)

@TrueInnovator159 If you want to be a Green Beret... I suggest you study A Lot and Learn a Foreign Language so you can skip DLI training in the beginning of the process. The thing everyone Underlooks is the ASVAB, for 18Xray(Special Forces enlistment) you need a GT score of 107 or higher. If you go Airborne Infantry, you have to wait until you are an E4 for Special Forces selection. Good Luck. =)

Your wrong dude. The Marines got first recon and that is the most elite of the Marine Corp. Im in the Corp so I know. We are trained better then the Army, and we may talk shit on other branches but we just joke about it. We are better then the Army though. Army is well equipped and the Marines are trained to kill.

I was saying that because the Marine drill instructors are a hell of alot harder on us. My dad was in the Army but he told me to join the Corp, because the drill sergeants in the Army are getting softer. Thats why so few make the Marines. They are hard on us so we can handle extreme stress in combat sitiuations. Hell I know every branch talks shit on each other, but we just joke about it. Oh and if your really a Ranger. Where did you learn how to spell?
