  • That is a cultural gesture. Ur lucky!! I never got this treatment from a waitress.

  • Is this in Korea or in the States? Where is this?

  • LOL AT THE END!!

  • looks great hahaha. had the same experience before

  • Yeah as an American who lived in korea for 5 years I can say YES its a cultural thing.. A Korean helping out a westerner.... GOSH I Miss me some Kalbi.. SOO GOOOD.

  • probably because your hands were full w/ the camera...

  • 보이는 너무 맛있는요!

  • THATS GOOD SERVICE!

  • @RedNoir hahaha i agree 100% haha

  • Lol. So how was the food? I think I'd be a little uncomfy with the fact that she's touching my food bare handed like that, but meh...carpe diem, ya know?

  • Whoa, I'm jealous, I've never been fed by a Korean lady at a restaurant. That's probably because I understood how to make my own lettuce wrap... I love Korean food! Well, all Asian foods are yummy. I hope you tipped her well ;)

  • Cultural or not, Still Awkward O__O

  • @ShuddersomeKat I would say it's only awkward to somebody from a different culture, which we probably both are. lol

  • @ShuddersomeKat its only awk when u make it awk

  • ur coke can has the olympic rings! :D

  • ahahahaha that was awesome!!!

  • i bet you felt like a pimp that day

  • hahahaha i like how she has to use two hands to put that one piece of lettuce in your mouth!

  • Admit it, you liked it ;) lol

  • haha your facial expression at the end

  • Your videos are the best! Thanks!

  • Loswhit you son is destined to be gay, he is a single lady lol

  • say AAAAAAH :D

  • i love it

  • One day in Korea I was waylaid by two older ahjummahs at this restaurant in the early afternoon. I was the only customer and these ladies kept bringing more and more dishes out. I couldn't speak any Korean and they couldn't speak English so they just kept at it until they found something I liked. Wasted tons of food in the process. Korean food is the best, though.

  • My mom did this all the time to me when i was in college. Im still in college :P

  • My wife is Korean, and my Mother-in-law fed me this way 4 times in a row the first time we met. I learned on the first try that you have to eat it all in one bite. And then that you do it 3 times in a row for good luck. I love that red pepper paste.

  • haha, she's so sweet

  • Haha :D

  • LOL! wow. Well hey I hope you left her a good tip.

  • you're awesome man, and you got beautiful kids. wish i'll be like you someday

  • Im korean... they never did that to me... I should change my ethnicity.

  • That's the way you're supposed to eat it, but generally they usually don't feed you by hand, haha (;

  • lol yeeeahh. my boyfriend (white) eats dinner at my house all the time when we're both home from college (he loooves my mom's (korean) cooking).. and she's fed him once or twice. he's accepted it now, but it was hilarious the first time. he was like "OH oh uhh. thank you? nomnomnom"

  • its kind of a cultural thing. dont feel awkward lol

  • Haha niiiice

  • very funny lol i never had korean bbq it looks so good

  • @skaterboyjensi how old are you?

    12?

  • say : aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. hahaahah

  • bhahahaha !!! love thissssss

  • hahhahahaha such a good sport, even though it's not normal in american culture XD is your adopted son korean? just wondering..

  • @kprocks89 his videos show that his adopted son is from Koreaaaaa

  • the bbq beef is good stuff

  • yeah, completely agree with a lot of people below me. normal in the korean culture :) i bet it was DELICIOUS! P:

  • KBBQ RULES!!@!! lol im so hungry

  • LOL. It is a weird bit of Korean ssam culture that once you wrap a ssam like that it has to go somewhere... it would actually have been rude for her to have wrapped a ssam and then handed it to you. You wouldn't have known it but for Koreans it would be pretty cold if she didn't put it in your mouth. LOL. Hilarious.

  • lol she was probably being nice since you were holding the camera

    i liked your expression xD

  • Awesome! Although normal in a Korean Culture.

  • yeah it's part of Korean culture, I'm Chinese and my bf's Korean, ahjummas would feed me like this too, he says it means they like me LOL!

  • @gemina15 hahaha very true !

  • hahah she feeds you THATS EPIC

  • In our country peking duck is served like this. It's served with rice pancakes, chopped onions and cucumbers and soya sauce :)

  • It's part of the Korean culture (which I've grown to love as an American-born Korean girl)~ Getting fed by the ahjummahs (older mother/ladies) makes the food taste better to me!

  • @Takara8tt Not really part of the culture, but Korean people do things like that because it is courtesy and not awkward in Korean Society. It's like how Korean people try and crack jokes with me at the bath house when they're butt-naked. Not exactly "cultural" but not a big deal and acceptable.

  • Sweet! XD

  • Lol, I'm in Japan, where service is renown to be the most excellent. That lady just fed you. Korea wins. xD

Oh, and, I noticed a lot of removed comments--I'm not sure what they say exactly, but I'm glad you're one to keep them in check. Too many crazies out here, too many.

  • Yummmm. Korean BBQ is amazing.

  • omg..i've tried something like that but not at a korean restaurant..instead, it was a cantonese style restauurant....omg...everyone should try cantonese hot pot...the best kind of food out there in my opinion...it's so different from the regular chinese restaurants that we're so familiar with...the food is totally different and super yummy.
