  • @KitsueneFox You really don't want to know.

  • whats the chapter and series????

  • haha worfs hilarious face at 0:32 when picard tells him to sing xD

They actually use the bouncing f*cking ball in the STAR TREK movie.

Say what you will, but Karaoke Night on the Enterprise must be entertaining as hell.

  • My reaction :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

  • In every bit of Star Trek I've ever seen, it's impossible to even so much as plot a course without pressing at least THREE buttons... In fact, that may mean it's actually just as easy to access the lyric sheet to American Pie as it is to raise shields...

  • @spike1138

LCARS is one damn user friendly operating system.

  • The most brilliant thing about this is that the full liberetto of one specific Gilbert & Sullivan opera is accessible from the cockpit computer of the Captain's yacht merely by pressing just TWO buttons.

  • Sing Worf Sing.

    NO (shakes head) I Wont!!

  • First Contact and Insurrection were awesome.

  • I loved the two ships in this.

So awesome. I would take the Venture class scout for a spin any day. :p

  • liked every single TNG movie, only liked 2,3,4,6 of TOS 3 was OK 1 and 5 probably in top 10 worst movies ive ever seen.

  • @marco0798 same here

  • thats my favorite scene in Star Trek :Insurrection but i like star trek first contact better than star trek insurrection

  • A Klingon man is a soaring soul

As free as a charging Targ

  • It's a bad Star Trek movie whenever one of the main characters sings.

  • cant stop watching!

  • When it involves fighting that is when Worf joins in LOL!!! It seems that Data cannot sing and pay attention to manuevers dispite his positronic matrix!

  • When it involves fighting that is when Worf joins in LOL!!!

  • Worf has the best "What the hell are you DOING, man?!" look ever!

  • The only good part of this whole god awful movie. Worf makes this scene awesome with his reaction to Picard asking him to sing ROFL.

  • @SirHawkeyeWho i agree,my only problem,is trying to decide if Stewart/Spiner are any better at singing this, than Kesley Grammer was during that 1 episode of the Simpsons from all those years ago lol

  • @chrisbrown456: I vote for Picard/Worf/Data - Sideshow Bob sucks!!

  • Check out my edited version of this with music

  • Badass... just simply baddass. Brent Spinner has got to be my all time favorite. :)

  • And his fist be ever ready for a knockdown blow!

  • I love how Picard and Worf are still singing even as they ram into Data with the docking clamps.

  • Oh Insurrection. Such a missed opportunity to make a really dark Trek movie set during the Dominion War. Should have been about Picard discovering a Changeling takeover of Starfleet and leading the "insurrection" against it with the help of less savory characters (Section 31).

  • I love how the monitor has a sing along dot

  • @Jesse2K12 That's my favourite thing - the fact that Starfleet must have built in sing-a-long functions into their ships xD

  • brent spiner owns this

  • pause as 0:46

    laugh.

  • ROFLMAO!!!!! LOVE IT!!! Especially when Picards like "Sing, Worf, sing!" and Worf shakes his head no and Data joins in. LOL!!!! They know how to have fun thats for sure!! love how all the movies focus on Picard, Data, and Worf my top 3! ;)

  • I love how the flight controls of a shuttle are just two button presses away from displaying a song listing for H.M.S. Pinafore.

  • D: why wouldn't you include the question about knowing them? it's important for the joke about not knowing them.

  • Starfleet shuttles are obviously fitted with a karaoke :-D

  • @Winner8501 Well being out in space gotta keep yourself entertaind.

  • Which movie is this?

  • @seikomaruhana this is star trek insurrection

  • @cole003f Yeah, realized that after a second, lol, I had a temporary blond moment. Thanks though :-)

  • Gilbert and Sullivan + Star Trek. two of my most favorite things combined. this was a good movie. haha

  • which movie is this? the one focusing completely on Picard and Data? oh wait, thats all of them...

  • Picard fucks up the lyrics.... (mind you he was under a lot of pressure)

  • This is a great drinking song!

  • Sing Worf, Sing!

  • I really don't know why but this scene just makes me laugh so much

  • They have karaoke machines in the 24th century!!!

  • the MUST have a pint of beer

  • The only problem with this clip is it gives the impression Insurrection is actually worth seeing.

  • @Buccura: Yes, the OPINION of one man is fact. Personally, I love Insurrection. Sure, it has its faults, but unlike First Contact it's actually Star Trek instead of a action movie.

  • @Buccura hey i liked it!

  • @73Stargazer To be fair, I'm in no position to argue because, well, I liked The Motion Picture :X

  • @Buccura

    Yup, that's the unfortunate aspect.

  • A BIG-LIPPED ALLIGATOR MOMENT!

  • Can you please upload the bit from "Disaster" where Geordi sings "I Am The Very Model Of A Modern Major-General"?

  • I am the very model of a scientist Salarian;

I've studied species, Turian, Asari, and Batarian

  • @S1deshowRobP5 you do realize that those are fictional?

  • @Kottonism

    Lol yes

I just love mass effect and seeing where bioware have been inspired

  • probably my favourite bit from Insurrection except for perhaps "It is a Gorch!"

Thanks for the upload! Excellent quality too :)

  • definitely the best one on YouTube, thanks

  • Of the Next Gen films, this is closest they get to the actual series.

But that's not a difficult feat.

That said: I love this part. It's the only reason I cling to this movie, despite the incredibly good argument that RedLetterMedia has laid out against it.

  • Oh, it makes me sad that so many people didn't think this was a good Trek movie, I personally thought it was really good and is my favorite. This is also my favorite clip, I love it when they sing!

  • Comment removed

  • I love this bit...

  • Thanks for uploading this. Possibly the best part of the movie.

  • In my opinion, Insurrection is the worst Star Trek movie. The script is other-worldly awful, although the actors still do a solid job and the direction is good.

  • @Sephiroth1984 Agreed. It's somewhat of a good plot, but the scripting isn't the best.

Also, yay for Data/Picard singing bass! They sound rather good, actually - not professional, but not bad either.

  • @Sephiroth1984 I still think Star Trek V: The Final Frontier is worse. That movie gives me a headache.

  • Sing warf sing.

    *shakes head*

  • I love it! Thank you so much for uploading. xD

  • Ah, the good kind of dumb... not to be confused with the bad kind of dumb, like exposing the fact that the Enterprise can be manually piloted by a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick.

  • Picard belts this out pretty good. Nicely done Patrick.

  • hell yeaz!

  • This Scene is Hilarious! XD

  • A British tar is a soaring soul

As free as a mountain bird

His energetic fist should be ready to resist

    A dictatorial word

His nose should pant and his lip should curl

His cheeks should flame and his brow should furl

His bosom should heave and his heart should glow

And his fist be ever ready for a knock-down blow

  • His eyes should flash with an inborn fire

His brow with scorn be wrung

He never should bow down to a domineering frown

Or the tang of a tyrant tongue

His foot should stamp and his throat should growl

His hair should curl and his face should scowl

His eyes should flash and his breast protrude

And this should be his customary attitude

  • what movie is this from? or is it from an episode?

  • @iamdisaster666 Star Trek: Insurrection, I think.

  • @iamdisaster666 Movie is called Insurrection. It's pretty good.

  • Leave it to a director like Frakes to turn a sing-along sing, complete with a Disney-ish bouncing ball, into something so full of awesome.

  • I love this movie.

And when Brent hits that low note, unf.

  • This one of the few things i actually like about that movie. Thanks for posting it!

  • Gotta love how it takes two button presses to bring up the score to the H.M.S. Pinafore. Data must have hot-keyed it before he left.

  • Funnest part in the Whole Movie!

  • This is my favorite scene in Star Trek Insurrection

  • Heh, I searched Youtube just for this clip! :)

I think it would've been better if you included Picard's line just before this scene where he says "Mr. Worf, do you know Gilbert and Sullivan?".

  • Watching this without knowing the context to this is the meaning o life.

  • I love the little sing along touch, my favourite moment from this film

  • On another note...

i would pay to hear them sing the full song.

  • This song is really good I have the DVD of this star trek movie and felt this is a very cool Battle hymn! funny thing is when this song is about resisting tyrants, the brits were the biggest ones around ;) Wish India had such cool battle hyms and would have joined the industrial revolution in the 1800s,we would have remained a wealthy and free country and would have outsourced our manufacturing to china now :0 ...wait thats what we are doing...except the wealthy part!

  • @indonippon

This song is not about resisting imperial tyranny, so much as class equality. Sir Joseph Porter is the head of the British navy and has given this song to one of the crew members of the ship. The song is about how a British sailor should consider himself every man's equal (except that of Sir Joseph, of course).

  • @stagetenore I understand that but under an imperialist rule the natives are treated as the underclass and the invaders are the elite rule makers. This song would've struck a chord not just with british tars but also with Indians freedom fighters back in the day as it was about equality which everyman wants.Besides the raj the brits have a proud naval history i just saw master and commander! your end comment was pretty funny lol!

  • Damn... this is freaking addictive.

  • Brent Spinner is quite a good singer!

  • Without a doubt the best scene of the movie. And one of the few that actually remembers the kind of funny-adventure of the TVshow of the 4 movies.

  • I always feel giddy seeing as too how much Data gets into it!

  • Does anyone have scene when the Drones attack and Worf tells the Captain he is feeling aggressive

  • Did anyone notice that pressing just TWO buttons on the navigational controls brings up HMS Pinafore lyrics? Starfleet shuttles sure have weird controls...

  • funny

  • a retarded opera

  • @MeIsArtTickYouLet

Must be right up your alley, then, huh?

  • troh, its from the movie star trek insurrection

  • does anybody know if this is from a movie or an episode? if so wich movie/episode?

  • @emill151 it's from the movie insurection in my opinion the best of the series

  • If i was picard id be driveing that sovereign manually all the time

  • Nice :D

  • "Sing, Worf, sing." LOL at Worf shaking his head.

    Thank you for uploading.

  • @ChelseatheHolmesian Ya. Then Worf does start singing

  • @ChelseatheHolmesian Worf should recognize a good warrior's song.

  • "theyre composers worf"

the look he gives him is priceless

  • Mordin is proud

  • @CrashB111 he is the very model of a scientist salarian

  • Maybe the best thing in the movie...

Good scene- not the best Trek movie...

  • Wow, they can sing.

  • The funny thing about this song is that the character who composed it in "HMS Pinafore" (Sir Joseph Porter) was an effete land-lubber who didn't really believe any of the song's lyrics.

  • ♪ AAANNNND this should be his customary AT-TIT-TUUUUDE ♪

  • i did like this movie

  • If you enjoy this, look up on amazon "Ol' Yellow Eyes is Back"

  • This is excellent. One of best clips from Star Trek IMHO. :)

  • FINALLY! A real clip of this!!!

    Thanks!!!

  • Yeah, unfortunately I didn't include the entire Gilbert and Sullivan joke at the very beginning. Didn't notice until I had uploaded it. Oh well. At least the quality is far better than anything else on Youtube.

  • @hughugh it's alright. I still laughed at it anyway. lol

  • @hughugh

I wish you had put in the full scene from when the shuttle launched from the Enterprise. The only version of that I found was in German.

  • @hughugh Maybe you can reclip it and upload it?

  • great movie :) bring back the next generation :( i miss the old trek

  • i like this scene it's a cute one and it's funny all in the same time!
