  • the fuck dude whos playin bruce not trying this makes bruce lee look bad

  • whata bad movie

  • Watch my response video, its better

  • That's not even how Bruce Lee fights.

  • this looks sped up. with bruce, they had to slow it DOWN.

  • Mark Dacascos is and always will be a shitty Z-grade actor hahaha

  • Danny Chan K.K. is = Bruce Lee 2,he = will be the successor of Bruce Lee's JEET KUNE DO!! He is the true JKD martial arts artist !! He is the ACTOR that really suitable to act as BRUCE LEE !!

    陈国坤 = 李小龙2, 陈国坤 = 李小龙的截拳道的領悟之人,真正截拳道的武术高手!! 真实适当演李小龙的演员!!

  • danny chan should equip himself with the wing like lats

  • Danny Chan is NOT Bruce Lee. Okay?! So don't expect that Danny Chan can be fast like Bruce because each person has his/her own limits.

This series is great, by the way.

  • Bruce Lee was only one and always will be!

  • thats not lee..xD haha bruce lee was..1000times faste.r.... xD but he ist good :p

  • thats not lee..xD haha bruce lee was..1000times faste.r.... xD

  • Why do people make Bruce out to be some kind of invincible superman.. he was awesome but he was still human.. it is well documented that he had fights that went for over 5 minutes, the fight against the muay thai fighter on the set of the big boss was one of them.. top stating movie traits as facts, pull your heads out of the clouds and read his books and learn something about the real bruce lee

  • @rufusbone Well because neither you nor me could have win against this man :).

  • the guys from 5:30 looks like brandon lee.

  • @llx2o1 that guy is MARK DACASCOS, guest of Iron CHef , i hope a wrote right all this, sorry my english

  • @llx2o1 You are very right, he is Mark Dacascos, and after Brandon Lee's death, he was hired to star as Eric Draven, the Crow, in a TV series, because of his likeness to the original Crow and his martial arts background.

  • The real Muay Thay are superior of jeet kune do and this is not the reality... :-))

  • @Melchidesek70 Muay Thay better than Jeet Kune Do? haha,. you are a comic guy :).

  • lol this guy could the re incarnation of bruce lee, im not kidding he was born 2 years after bruce died

  • @gamemystro Yes,,it is true, but nobody knows if the reincarnation exists :(.

  • he did scream in the fights

  • Comment removed

  • Boringg.. When Bruce Lee fight always shout. But this series he didn't shout. (Well he's not bruce lee...) But still boring -.- I love bruce lee shout!

  • @Sareth14 yep

  • NOT Bruce Lee...but a look-a-like...not a very good one

  • The muay Thai guy was mark decascos btw, his father was and still is one ofthe greatest martial artists, ever... And Bruce lee was faster, but well take what we can get...

  • I loved this movie. For one the guy actually look's like Bruce lee alot, and I thought the fighting scenes were done very, very well.I think fan's of Bruce lee will really like it!!!

  • dude these fights are completely un-realistic Bruce lee never took more than one minute against an opponent except for one of which i cant remember, if the real Bruce would have gotten hit hard he would've gotten mad and hit back even harder

  • Also, I meant mostly for the first fight shown. Some of these fight aren't complete, but that's cool...still awesome *thumbs up*

  • Well understand that it's hard (nowadays) to keep up with certain martial artists speed, so most times they slow them down. Sure, I doubt they slowed Bruce down back then, but well...this ain't then. Not to mention, this is a biography, and Bruce wasn't always a master...I think this was during the time he was still working out the kinks in Jeet Kune Do.

  • @CloudA33 While I think it's pitiful that all these nitwits are complaining about how slow the fights are, I will correct you. Bruce Lee's stuff was slowed down quite a bit. The directors actually would get annoyed with Bruce Lee cause he would just speed through scenes they wanted to take longer.

  • @njl4515 Ah, well I figured it was more because Bruce didn't want his work edited at all, but I won't argue. It makes since. The man was lightning fast...

  • stop saying this isnt the real bruce lee and read the bio you fucking lemons.

  • if this was the real bruce lee those guys would be knoucked out in the first minute

  • BRUCE LEE MADE HIS ASS TAP OUT DATS WATS UP

  • damn bruce lee rose from the dead!

  • this is cool it reminds me of Bruce. Big respect to the dude who acted like Bruce. I just know it was very difficult to get this close to the moves. Does he olso does that electric shock training of Bruce it wil make you go faster

  • That last opponent was harder than other opponents but Bruce Lee was the best!!!!

  • That isnt bruce lee!!!

  • second fight: blocking with open hands is very dangerous, you could break your fingers.

  • @moviecas -Not Really, it's more effective to defend with an open hand than a closed. One condition you bare in mind that you are not "blocking" but deflecting. It would be insane to actually try to stop a punch of a kick, it's far easier to rather deflect it. Doing so also leaves your opponent unbalanced and open for a counter attack.

  • Bruce Lee Jujitsu! 10:35 - 10:45

  • You'd think they'd start show casing his real method not his enter the dragon stance and moves, like Game of death when he did the arm-triangle choke to beat Kareem Abdul Jabar.

  • You'd think they'd start show casing his real method not his enter the dragon stance and moves, like Game of death when he did the arm-triangle choke to beat Kareem Abdul Jabar.

  • You'd think they'd start show casing his real method not his enter the dragon stance and moves.

  • His keaii are funny...

    'hoo hoo'

  • it's boring

  • Boring!

  • this fake ass shit... man that karate nigga wouldt have got one hit on bruce lee...

  • man, the real bruce lee don't fight long, he fight fast with his oppenent , but this movie is alright...

  • Is that Mark Dacascos playing the Thai fighter??

  • Stunt fighters are bette than the main actor lols. Anyway stop to watch after 4:30, the last fight is pure shit!

  • pause at 04:35

  • This is a joke, cant believe this series was endorsed by the Bruce lee estate.

  • There's many people in the world who have not only seen Bruce Lee's movies, but also studied his philosophy and way of seeing life, especially in his last time, when he concluded the philosophy of the water. Just by watching this video, you can tell these people have not. Bruce would have never fought this funny. This character lacks of Bruce's attitude and does not move like him.

  • lol 3:03.. WHOW!

  • bruce wouldn't have ended a fight with one shot

  • wait a minute... why is he competing in a karate tournament if he doesn't do karate???

  • It's the chairman!!!! Allez Cuisine!

  • This looks quite cheesy. Bruce Lee was a great martial artist sure, but much of his supposed fights and his movie persona became so milked and mythified. Real Bruce Lee did not fight all these people. Nor was he involved in any competitions. He certainly wasn't a superman who could beat anyone without hardly getting hit once. What he was, was a great philosopher, martial artist and the first Asian action star to bridge East and West.

  • @Xentradi97 bruce lee stared the world of martial arts in the face as a young man and told them he fixed all their problems...via jeet kune do. Now you mean to tell me.. people didn't try calling him on his bluff?.. you believe people just accepted what he said and for those who didn't they just engaged in philosophical debate about it?...c'mon now

  • @pjbutl2 All martial arts styles say they are the best. If there's one style that's truly better than others, all other styles will eventually cease to exist. But that's not the case is it? Bruce Lee was an incredible and one of the most respected Martial Artist for sure. But he was not an invincible fighter as media and many fans want to believe. His ideas rang true and his arts had enough effectiveness and merit to be accepted. But is Jeet Kune Do invincible ultimate art? Certainly not

  • @pjbutl2 Many factors exist in what makes an ultimate fighter. Stylistic choice and strength is only one small part of it. Conditioning, natural talent, physical fitness, animal instinct, reflex etc... counts more than style. That's why you see many black belts get trashed in the street by guys who got hardened in street style fighting. Because there's no rule in street style. No honor. Just survival.

  • @Xentradi97 I agree with all your points completely, but bruce lee emerged during a time where the world was much more socially divided than it is today (in terms of race specifically). There are even documentaries where producers/directors mentioned how guys interrupted private meetings in Lee's backyard just to call his bluff. Bruce Lee definitely was not superman, however.. being a young minority with an accent..he had to exude that air of confidence as a potential leader to be respected..

  • @pjbutl2 Yes I agree that the man also deserves credit for being the first Asian man to bridge East and West or shall I say tried and succeeded to a degree breaking into Western audience. I do find a bit tired of all these "MILKING" of Bruce Lee and making him into a symbol of nationalism or culturalism etc... I've caught Yip Man which was nothing more than fictional recycling of Bruce Lee flicks peppered with Nationalistic Asian centric pride. Enuf already

  • @Xentradi97 As you said...all martial art styles proclaim that their style is the "gospel truth", which is why you had guys flippin mad at Bruce for being so personable with American culture. Also, many black belts get trashed in the streets because they're the ones dawning the belts.... you can only blame the fighter..not the style

  • @Xentradi97 I would argue that bruce lee was in the top percentile of great martial artists in his day, not saying he's the best of the best. Of course these shows will blow things out of proportion just as was the case with the new Beowulf picture featuring angelina jolie, there were some truths to his tales.. but beowulf was depicted as a man drunk of his own ego. You're going to get that with the trailblazers.

  • the one taught this actor how to fight is a dumas, and the one directed this movie is an idiots.

  • Your really good at commenting arnt you

  • home made is great when it's cookies, but this???

  • haha I was asking myself is this the real bruce lee when he was young or something but I was sure it is not bruce lee then i saw the reactions and it's true it's not the real deal

  • but muai thai shots are heaveir than jeet kundo shots. See tony jaa's fighting

  • reply to IMnotSAS, well u be talking so powerful with insulting words" why dont step out prove it ?? ! not by your mouth.

  • People love to talk about Bruce not "proving himself". Well, back then who did he have to prove himself to? He had no reason to fight every guy who challenged him. It was only after his death that people really started to go overboard with the talk shit about him. He didn't know his fighting ability would be scrutinized by random people who know little or nothing about him on places like the internet!

  • It was interisiting to see a thaï boxer fight with someone gotting same bruce lee jeet kune do skill..Very interisting, because thaï boxing is very powerfull

  • For all those "Bruce Lee would lose / suck in the UFC"...really? Im sure most 70 year old men wouldnt be in the UFC. First of all you can thank people like Bruce Lee FOR the UFC and MMA ever existing.

Otherwise most people ( some still do ) would stick to old out dated fighting techniques. Bruce was an innovator in formlessness and practical combat. If you are gonna hate on him at LEAST read the Tao of Jeet Kune Do and get the idea behind his methods.

You will see pre UFC in alot of his work.

  • @vamtheanomaly

Yes i agree !! and i want fight wth every hater tommorow morning !!! ataaaaaaaaaaa ouuuuuuuuuuuu yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh !!!

  • @vamtheanomaly

Bollock mate, the gracie family invented modern mma, they were kicking ass even when bruce lee was alive and would have kicked him ass too.

  • @IMnotSAS Counter Bollocks mate. I think you need to read my post again. At the end of the first paragraph I said "First of all you can thank people LIKE Bruce Lee For the UFC and MMA ever existing."

People LIKE Bruce Lee....this would also include the Gracie family. Men that go outside of the norm to push boundaries of certain things. As for the kicked his ass too. That is debatable and your opinion. We will never know. I do know that Lee didnt like "rules" in combat.

  • @vamtheanomaly

Bruce lee didnt like combat at all, thats why he carried a 45 magnum all the time. shit scared.

  • @IMnotSAS I think you are referring to the scene in Enter the Dragon "Why doesnt someone pull out a 45 and BANG...settle it." Its fine, you dont have to believe in the man, Ive been dealing with people debating about him being a real fighter since 1986. The bottom line is. Lets ask the Gracie family what they think about Bruce Lee if possible. Remember fights go to the ground, but Ive also seen fights ended with 1 punch or kick too.

  • @vamtheanomaly

No, im refering to the documentary little dragon or something in which his freinds say, he used to carry a 45 magnum because every kung fu master in hong kong wanted a fight with him. The gracies used to invite anyone to come and fight them, and they always won, they didnt carry a gun and dodge fights

  • @IMnotSAS The thing is this. Carrying a gun around is actually smart. That being said. Bruce Lee has passed on. We will never know how good he would or could of been in mma. It would have been started earlier for sure.

As for the gracies, well the 65 yr challenge was also defeated when Royce was defeated by Matt Hughs a more modern trained fighter. Fighting and fighters evolve just like they did hundreds of years ago.

Gracies are awesome but they need to cross train more now.

  • @vamtheanomaly

The thing is what goes up must come down, whatever excells in this world will meet a downward decline, look at the Roman empire how it fell, the british empire how it fell, tyson how he became a joke, the gracies how they have lost, the look at lions in the wild, they are dominant only for 4-5 years then a young lion comes and defeats the old lion. The art of longevity is to be second best, be silver not gold.

  • @IMnotSAS where'd you get this story from? that he carried around a gun?

He did like combat, why do you think he tried to learn from anyone and everyone?

  • this a sick joke that China did for Bruce Lee's name. I can't believe that his family, especially his own daughter would agree to this mockery. It goes to show as long as the big name is dead, your family will sell you out for money, just look at the movie "Dragon". Where are the people that truly loved Bruce Lee??

  • @j0cr0z

What did you say ? you hate bruce lee ? i want fighting with you tomorow morning !!

  • Ray Park as Chuck Norris!!! Fuck yeah!! :)

  • If Bruce lee was alive he would not win any fight because he would over 70 years old.

  • @IMnotSAS

    Yes sure..

  • @stubaru (bottom bottom of the comment)u said that bruce lee won't take so long to defeat sumone he took long becuz he wanted his opponent to lie on his shirt pls see and listen properly before u speak.

  • at 10:42 this guy cant do anything.

  • where do all these opponents come from?

  • this is not bruce lee.. this is bruce leech.

  • THIS IS NOT BRUCE LEE !!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg bruce lee wears asics xD

  • This sucks. Who is the skinny Faggot playing Bruce Lee? This is only Communist Propaganda Bull Shit..

  • Bruce Lee moved alot faster... -_-

  • @TheLastMatic

bruce lee would lose in the ufc.

  • @IMnotSAS Unqualified statements ftw, whats that got to do with what I was talking about?

  • @IMnotSAS

Bruce Lee would lose in the UFC? If he still alive he would have adopted UFC techniques and would have mastered it.

  • @aminul1984

    yes sure !!

  • @TheLastMatic

    he was lightning fast

  • @TheLastMatic I know right? Bruce Lee was 100000000x faster.

  • @bankaiichigo13 Indeed, the best punch of Lee was 0.05 second.

  • Very nice video imo..

  • he doe snot have the same charisma, damn they think they can emitate me, i mean him>?

  • @IMnotSAS Where is the problem? Wouldn`t you be glad if you could fight like him?

  • 3:33 is so funny

  • hahahahahh he beat that dude up at 3:o1

  • Cant clone Bruce Lee its impossible. Human being cannot be God.

  • That's not Bruce!

  • @knuser004 He's like bruce lee , but its not bruce lee.

  • Is he fighting against taekwondo? Looks pretty cool! i respect bruce lee a lot! this must

be a series about bruce lee played in china!

  • I've seen this whole episodes in my country. It is just that their drama act's alot than just fighting. I still watch his fight.

The stupid thing is no Chuck Norris is, he was called Hoffman in the drama, and not 100% the exactly with real life and drama, cause not everything is perfect.

  • the way this imitation guy's stance goes at the first 43 seconds, his stance is nothing like bruce's,but his movements are almost the same,BUT COME ON,theres only one bruce lee!

  • I agree

  • i wan thx for Bruce Lee !!! he teach me fight!!!

  • @Str8T2isRippin

Only me can fight like bruce lee !! ataaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh oooouuuuuuuuuuu !!!

  • @Str8T2isRippin Well of course there is only one.

But thats why this is a tv show and not some documentary on an impersonator.

    The production company knew better,lol.

  • well if you see these guys are corean.. and the martial art they use is taekwondo... as if u see all of that flying kicks... well.. the immitation is good but... i must say that , there is only 1 bruce.. so sory.. the bruce here is more likely Ken Shiro.. XD

  • One of thausen ridicolous Bruce's imitation of tecnique and movements. Lee rest now and for always inimitable. Very very stupid fightings...... By Bruce whit love for always: "you rest in my hearth forever".

  • the way this guy fight is very similar 2 br....but! well,..........he's not HIM

    He's the only one

  • Does anybody think the first antagonist in the video looks like the Korean Colonel from Die Another Day? He used WTF Taekwondo too

  • Who was the man who used only his right hand and beaten Bruce Lee (In the TV series)? He beat Bruce in another fight in the TV series which is not shown in the video here.

Did he really exist in Bruce's life or is he just a fictional character in the series? Anyone knows?

  • There are some real geniuses on Youtube...

  • what is the episode at the 8:00 minute? (Bruce Lee vs Thay boxer)

  • Nice but not Bruce Lee

  • not a big fan of teakwondo

  • hes not bruce lee.

  • no shit. Why do people say stupid things like this?

  • esa fue una gran pelea (~.~)dragon movie

  • Marc Dacascos, Gary Daniels, awesome cast =]

  • lol, even in a dramatic tv series, tae kwon do is ineffective for anything except point sparring.

  • One, you're an idiot. Two, the portrayal of Tae Kwon Do is wrong. We do have a few strikes and although it's predominantly kicks it's not ALL kicks. Most these were ostentatious spins and maneuvers and the simplicity of a mere roundhouse felt neglected unless it was a startlingly quick, sloppy kick to the upper torso (as all of this guy's were). A failed attempt to glorify a legend when both sides are portrayed wrong and the actor of the said legend fails to adhere to his legacy.

  • you right it's all for the camera, people who are believing this to be real demonstration are idiots. first, this bruce is to slow, and it seems like some of his hits are pointless taps, he wouldn't normally do that. bruce is also holding hits, which is another thing he doesn't do. for TKD, it split into, the traditional and the mod. american style. but both, have more then just kicks. plus in the fight, half the kicks you saw, you wouldn't use, unless your toying with a losing opponent.

  • True Tae Kwon Do alone is One dimensional but with boxing and muay thai that skill can shine through. Example K1 fighter Serkan Yilmaz, the footwork timing and distancing is invaluable to any fighter. You're completly right they directed yet another bruceploitation film with little emphasis on reality. Bruce is about finding whats useful and discarding whats useless maybe in the future they will make something that will do him more justice.

  • amazing blocking & footwork by Lee :)

  • Nice tribute, but there is no evidence that bruce ever fought in a competetive tournament

  • I think he did, but they were wearing protective gears, unlike this series. I think you could find some of his karate championship videos on youtube.

  • Good for a laugh. This guy moves like a mechanical man with no real muscle definition. The real Bruce Lee would own this joker that plays him with one punch.

  • You're right. But guess what? it's called acting. This guy's an actor and he only had 1 year to train and went from knowing barely any martial arts to being able to play Lee onscreen. He even admits that his kungfu can't really be considered good because he's not a professional, but good luck finding someone else who so closely resembles Lee AND can perform his moves to an extent. The series is no hollywood level production, but I think they did an alright job for the budget they had.

  • the dude playing bruce can't punch

    another failed bruce imitation

  • his wing chun is awsome

  • who the fukk is using wing chun in this shiet? hahahahahaha anyways man i aint tryin to diss man but that dude is using thai art style of martial art called muay thai.

  • Lame fighting.

Bruce wouldn't take this long to beat someone.

And he wouldn't be blocking so much like that.

And he wouldn't be waiting for counters all freakin day.

And I can go on and on but I'll stop for now.

  • didnt you know bruce was almost paralyzed in a fight once and had to be hospitalized for quite some time... shiet i love bruce lee but dang man the movie was made to honor the man so enjoy it. it was not meant to replace him or make him look bad. so chill

  • I am very chill. This is another failed attempt at imitating Bruce. True fans of Bruce would agree with me. Sure, the movie is to honor him, which is great, but they are obviously trying to imitate him too. Which is fine, if you do it right. This movie just looks like a compilation of what Bruce has already done in his movies. I bet these guys didn't even read Bruce's book much. Otherwise, they would have incorporated much more "interception" and counters. I'm just a bigger fan thats all

  • He wasnt't hurt in a fight like in the movie or the series.. That happened while he was lifting weights!!

  • u watched the dragon movie huh?

  • I like movies about Bruce Lee when he actualy gets hit, to think he never got hit is arrogant and false. He was great, but to say a great fighter never gets hit is stupid and unrealistic. You have to get hit to learn how not to get hit. Does that make sense?

  • this guy is just like bruce lee. if bruce stopped training for 5 years. and ate chicken wings all day.

  • lol its gonna be fat instead hehehe.

  • om nom nom

  • to bad this is just a movie,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the real mhai thai fighter will never charch in an attack so openedly

  • Yeah cuz thai fighters are known for being all ninja like.

  • ninja like? are you Fukkin retarded? hahahahahahaa muay thai is all about using attacks while defending at the same time while your ninja shiet are low attacking moves, hella open for a head strike man..

  • Comment removed

  • Mr. Turtle, please refrain from calling me "Fukkin retarded" when you failed to note that i was responding sarcastically to someones comment;"the real mhai thai fighter will never charch in an attack so openedly" you apparently missed this entirely. I felt a need to respond to this sarcastically because, yes thai fighters do kind of charge in and try to kill you with massive blows. So in closing, you fail at humor. Btw, it's spelled Fucking* not Fukkin and Shit* not shiet.
