i like melodys like this, but sry the tone of the violine doesnt "cry" so it doesnt fit with the title, just well.... too happy you know, shouldve been in a high and long tune, not fast changing tones after another
@MagicPete can I be the educated composition major and tell you how your composition really is? Simple. If you really want to capture some emotion try using more cello and variations of 9, 11, and 13 chords. It was pretty bland and safe. How old are you that may be the problem...try moving out of major keys, more rhythm, more harmony, more counter point, more passion bro.
The music is beautifully sad...but as usual your writing also "caught my eye" and one particular line "I live and breathe through what I feel but appear as a god damned cyborg"... Yeah! I know is just literature :-) off course!
A second listen , even watched the vid attentively ...there´s hope in it! :-)
What do you use.. I mean no offence but the program you use (if it is a program) is not very good :( You should have a look into 'fruity loops' as a program (I use this) or Sibelius or Overture. This will give you more options like volume control (very important) and no shortage of potential instruments and effects (reverb and equalising options). This may sound like rubbish but Fruity loops + Garritan Orchestral (or something similar) = AMAZING. You can even get really good free samples :)
