Hi im new to the hobby and just bought a tmaxx 2.5 was wondering if all the 2.5 are classics and are they all bad? and how fast can it go?

i just ordered mine today! The Traxxas Tmaxx 3.3. what upgrade should i look into first? it's not even here yet and im ready to upgrade it..lol..great video guys...

What is the upgrade for the steering? I have a S-Maxx 3.3 upgraded to 4 wheel drive. It is about 2 years old. I have a cover on the steering servo but you said there was an up grade to make the steering better.

i got into the hobby with a t-max and was terribly dissapointed, looking back to then i wish i knew what parts to upgrade and what was fine stock, the one thing that isnt often mentioned to upgrade but from my experiece is probably the most important would be the bulk heads. theyr so weak RPM wont even make replacements because it would char their reputation

Hi i have the 2.5 engine which im happy with, i've done alot of rpm upgrades and the only thing I really want to upgrade now is the steering servo, which one do you guys recommend. Cheers

@TheHockeygod6666 your right, absolutely, but the short 2.5 wheel base makes for a fun monster truck. and some poeple do this but add aluminum bulks and rpm arms and other useful upgrades.

I disagree with you guys 100%.Compared to all other out of the box rtr monster trucks the factory steering is great.The 2.5 engine is a working engineering masterpiece in a factory rtr engine.The truck is very nimble and steers just fine in factory form and the 2.5 has the most linear powerband out there in class.Plenty of power.Yes the bellcrank is better but the factory doesnt suck as bad as you guys are saying.The T-maxx hasn't been the best and most popular monster for years for no reason.

hey i just got a tmaxx 3.3 and ive had a nitro boat b4 and ive never had this problem with the boat but anyways my tmaxx fuel tank creates a lot of condensation and there is alot of liquids under the tanks and it gets all over the truck so my question is, is it normal to have fuel under neath the tank and it leaks a lot

Had my t-maxx since they came out with a 2.5 engine and about three months after I bought it a dude ask me if I want drag race him and I said I don't want to embarrass him infront of his kids

I love it I have 2.5 with 3.3 engine and 4x4 and I can do wheels with 4wheel drive

You guys should do a Hpi savage flux! and run it side by side with the e-revo! Same Motor and esc and battery will make it an interesting comparison.

Personally, I love the E-maxx. The maxx trucks have benn around so long for a reason. Nitro is ok just prefer electric. Good review guys!
