  • I remember the Voco 78's, I used to have "A Kiddie Prayer" with "Lead Kindly Light" back in the mid 90's when I got it at a yard sale, but I threw it in a trash. I missed it. :(

  • I WANT ONE OF THOSE PLAYERS!!!!!!

  • Hi raymondtvinyl! I have the same exact record player but it's not a Peter pan. Color of mine is red and white! Got it for FREE

  • Hi raymondtvinyl! I have a little red and while player just like that , but it's not a Peter pan record player. It was made by a company in new jersey by the name of Spear records. However I found a record that was manufactured by the same co. I got the player for FREE!! check out my video!

  • I couldn't laugh for less. This makes youtube worth watching to. Greetings from Sweden the lovers of 78rpm.

  • @artifoix Hats off to Sweden!! Glad U enjoyed!! Best to you for the New Years! :-)

  • Great Find. This is my dad singing.

  • @doreystories My dad sang on many of the Peter Pan records and he sang with Benny Goodman.

  • @doreystories That is soooo COOL!!! Really makes YouTube special!! So glad you could hear this wonderful record! Peace.

  • this is an absolute gem, raymon, and the tote-bag, that's an embarrasment of riches! congratulations on such an amazing find at such a price!

  • Its funny, I like to date roly-poly guys. If I ever live with one and get upset with him, I should sing him this song.

  • That's neat.

    Thanks.

  • great record! although as other people said, remember to change the stylus or it'll damage the record. i should know because i own a spear model 600 phonograph i bought for 9 dollars

  • Raymond, Great stuff but, if you don't change that needle, which sounds like it's been getting dull a while now with many plays - if U don't change it, you'll be continuing to slowly destroy those wonderful precious records; Not only destroying them but devaluing them w/each play. Keep up the GREAT work!

  • Believe it or not...that is a new stylus on the player. I think the record is a bit on the fried side. No biggie...still fun to hear.

  • Ok, great. I loved the 'Roly Poly' song and some of the others. I have a collection going back 43 years! I saved nearly all my old discs, the early ones (children's) and have floor to ceiling walls full of LPs, 78s & 45's. Lots of cassettes & 8-tracks as well. Take care.

  • Hi Raymond, what a beauty, thanks for share this with us, I am so glad that are people around the world, like you, who are taking care of our history...

    CHEERS FROM LONDON...

  • My pleasure! Hello London!! You Brits have super fabulous players over there!!

  • Great vintage player. I think it has to date at least '49 or maybe later. Since it has the 45 rpm speed and 45's didn't come out 'til '49. It's amazing that tonearm has survived and plays surprisingly well.

  • I agree 100%...I've never seen one of these with the 45 speed. It's not kind to 45's considering the needle. I did replace the needle. I like the sound too, considering it's acoustic. Glad u liked it! More to come.

  • HAHAHA! I hear ya Tink. Gosh, I hope that never happened! (LOL) These players go with my toy collection and my record player collection. So neat when they show up. I always pick them up if they're under $20.00 and work.

  • OMG! I love that TOTE! I want one! The little player is amazing!!!! What a steal! I adore stuff like this. That tote is SO retro! Love the Roly Poly tune as well. How FUNNY the words are! Imagine the poor fat little kid who suffered life long self consciousness as a result of this tune!
