  • Love the music, love the name, love the horse! I am a big fan of you and Grave Digger. Ablsolutely LOVE that you don't stack and chain him. I wish every person that raised TWHs would emulate your love, kindness, and responsiblity for this wonderful breed.

  • Every now and then I have bring up this video to get a thrill.

  • Someone who wants a world renowned horse!

  • WHO names their horse Gravedigger? I mean WTF, who DOES that?!

  • Is this an Arab horse?

  • the music is horrible

  • WOW!!! He's incredible!!!! I'm blown away by this handsome boy! Great soundtrack to the video, too- what fun to watch :)

  • Is this the Gravedigger who used to be in a vid with a speed racking spotted mule?

  • He is just so gorgeous. Not only perfect cadence, but he is clearly enjoying the heck out of himself!

  • Can someone please confirm for me that Gravedigger is actually gaiting and not pacing (when he goes very very fast). It looks, to my semi trained eye, that he drops into a pace, but dangit I cant slow it down to know for sure. Any assistance? Thank you

  • got an awsome filly i would love to cross with this big guy

  • This is absolutely amazing! Thank you for posting this! For all you naysayers and critisizers--there is nothing wrong here. Why do so many people think that their opinions are The Way. Some of you remind me of rabid and judgemental spiritualists...please, PLEASE keep an open mind...We all know our own individual animals, nothing more, and what we know does NOT apply to everyone elses'. I'm so sick of the negativity. Get a life.

  • @Seapaddler, your an idiot.

  • nice that is some speed ive seen a quarter horse appie but he was galloping full out so for him to go 25 mph at a trot that amaazing even if he is a speed racker

  • No really you are pathetic this animal is not running he is doing his NATURAL gait. He does this barefoot and lives what he does. Do your homework before you down people please.

  • @virginiagravedigger There is nothing natural i.e. in nature about screwing with horses that have an abnormality and to keep introducing that abnormality because humans like it. Ever see some of the fucked up dog breeds. You obviously don't get the point. If one of these so called natural horses of yours were to be born and live in the wild they wouldn't have some moron "asking" the horse to walk like a retard. This is YOUR gait not the horses.

  • @Seapaddler oh & BTW my first horse wz a tennessee walker- i got her when she wz 3 & not broken in 2 ride yet - SHE WAS NEVER TRAINED &when my uncle finally got her used 2 a saddle& bridle& she accepted me as her rider - the VERY FIRST TIME that i tried 2 ride her at a fast clip - i gave her the whole "giddy yup" and she IMMEDIENTLY started the fast one beat step movement - she did NOT TROT like a quarter horse! it confused me at first! but her NATURAL "trot" wz that beautiful smooth gait!

  • @Seapaddler DUDE! nothin UNnatural in this horses "GAIT" i agree w/other poster i think u're confusin this natural gait with wats called the "BIG LICK GAIT" of the Tennessee Walking Horse wher they train on BIG tall "boots" &chains & it throws th horse back on its hind legs&makes him throw his front feet WAY out in an exagerated forward move they call the "big lick" u need2tube that then Google this- Wikipedia Horse gait -&THIS- Wikipedia Racking horse - The Tennessee Walker, Paso Fino

  • @Seapaddler This gait is found in most feral and ancient horse breeds in the world. Marwari horses in India, Russian Basjkir, Icelandic, Mustangs, they all have this gait and show it at pasture and in the wild. It was much more common in earlier times, during the Middle Ages both Friesians, P.R.E. (Pura Raza Española) and most European warm bloods were "gaited", and were more common than those who weren't. When classical dressage was developed the gaits were considered "lowly" and were bred out.

  • In fact, during the Middle Ages gaited horses were very much sought after by merchants and travelers because of the comfortable (and fast) movement, they were very much "peoples' horses" for this reason. The war horses of the mounted knights were not gaited, because they had to be able to passage and piaffe easily (to spin and switch speed in battle). Look up the Spanish Jennet or Palfrey for more info.

  • @hoglorfen Your information is not correct. Gaited horses were much more prevalent and sought after before the advent of hard roads, but they were never common. Only the middle and upper classes could afford them. Virtually all cross breeds would have had some gaited individuals, but if the trait is not natural in the locality, it takes a great deal of breeding effort to maintain. All gaited horses breeds have a common ancestry - but I'm talking 100,000 years ago.

  • You people are pathetic. Oh so fun to screw with an animal so it runs they way you think it should run.

  • @Seapaddler Your point is invalidated by the fact that this is a natural gait that this breed of horse are born and bred with. They can and do do this in the field. The only difference is the rider asking him to go fast here. It's natural otherwise.

  • @Seapaddler Please, educate yourself Seapaddler--I think you're confusing the Tenn. Walking Horse's that have their feet built up, then the trainer does what's called "soring" of the horse's coronary bands, pasterns and heels to get the exaggerated motion. Google soring and pay particular attention to the extremely long feet and VERY heavy shoe and you'll see the difference.

  • Man, He sure does get it done! Anyone that knows horses should be able to Clearly see this horse is loving what he's doing here!!!!

If you can't see that, you dunno much at All!

  • WHOOOO! go baby go! I miss my TWH so much, what a beautiful animal you have!

  • I would like to purchase a speed racking horse,do you have any for sale?

  • Nice,but i used to trail ride with a 30 mph buckskin

  • Wow.... I keep looking at rackers and I'm not big on a speedracker for myself (just not in a real hurry to get anywhere) but I find myself drooling all over my key board when I see this video. Thanks for sharing. That is a magnificient horse.

  • I have ridden with alot of horses here in florida and have seen no speed rackers that actually rack. Lots that pace! and yea the pacers can blow Dig away because he actally does stay in a rack.

  • @virginiagravedigger where can we meet i have two RACKING horses that id like race against u . just for fun. =)

  • Love the rackers, seen a horse at kentucky horse park that did 36 mph in an arena 9 time champion saddlebred. Love those rackers! thanks for the video!!!!

  • That is a very cool gait...I trained arabian show horses and am not familiar with racking..fantastic!

  • I like to pretend that my Rocky Mountain can gait like this. :)

  • wowowowowowowowowo

  • holy heck! what a mover! Love this horse! we need to cross this horse with mine! the colt would have wings!

  • @cathyseals27

Thank lets cross them. The babies I have seen by Dig already have wings as colts so crossed with a fast mare the baby would have jet fuel speed. LOL

  • @cathyseals27

Then lets cross. The babies I have seen out of Dig so far all seem to have wings so crossed with a mare with speed the baby would be fueld by jet fuel. LOL

  • how do you hvae him shoed? just wondering.

  • @Fastgate4beat

Digger is shod in a keg shoe just like a quarter horse or jumper but he does have a longer foot.

  • Love this horse! My first gaited horse was a foxtrotting fool who also loved to rack and we would fly - watching the Gravedigger always reminds me of him!

  • Beautiful, amazing horse! I love his build, you can tell he's well mannered. Love the horse.... will probably be emailing to find out about stud service! I did vote for him, hope he WINS!

  • We are almost always here. You are welcome to visit anytime you would like.

  • I love this horse!! I especially love your mule though :) One day I'd love to visit. I'm in Gainesville FL.

  • looks VERY happy to me! Got his ears back to pay attention, he's waiting for cues. Must not know anything about any breed...

  • @virginiagravedigger he looks calm and happy and almost like he's strutting his stuff ;) The first time I saw horse like this was at a stable I had my AQH at, all my grandfather and I could do was stare. I think if he had the time and was in better shape, my grandfather would have jumped at the chance to own a horse like this. I hope one day to be so lucky.

  • What a AWESOME horse!! I have a gaited Morgan mare. I would love to own one of his offspring one day!!

  • He makes it look so EFFORTLESS! He's one horse I'd love to meet before I die :)

  • Horse looked happy to me,odd that was said he hadn,t looked happy.I dig it the song, horse.Very nice.

  • Holy Wow! I got so excited just watching him move. Pay to breed to him? Heck, I'd pay to ride him for 5 minutes! ;-) Great song choice, too. Love it. Is the 2nd horse in the beginning of the video a racking horse also? I adopted what I was told is a quarter/arab cross who has a odd little walking gait like that one does. I'm going to upload a video showing it today or tomorrow.

  • Holy jeez! I would not even think twice about enjoying a piping hot cup of coffee on that horse! lol And I think he has such a cool name!

  • WTF.... WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

  • ive only ridden a gaited horse once but i didnt know how to ask him to do this, its amazing

  • this horse looks like he is swimming. he is AWESOME and i love watching the video. he is moving so fast it is breathtaking.

  • Wow! That's the funniest gait I've ever seen on a horse and IT'S COMPLETELY NATURAL! Wow! Ha ha, amazing horse you have, you're very lucky. Looks like a great guy! ;D

  • You go girl! That looks hella fun......six flags move over.....I'm going racking!!!!!!

  • We have proverb in Kyrgyz: If you live one day, ride racking horse until noon! Kyrgyz racking horses also great but our competitions for 30-40 km with dozens of racking horses are absolutely different from those you are watching.

  • That's one bad-ass horse! He's pretty! :P

  • Now THAT is what I'm talking about. Beautiful gait and not only is the speed incredible but the conformation as well. Amazing job!

  • That's one good looking horse built for working. And the gait is AMAZING!!!!!

  • Gorgeous horse!! Looks so smooth :) Sorry, I might sound really stupid but are speed racking horses actually TWHs??

  • They are half TWH, paso, Racker.

  • dammmmmmm!! he's so dam smooth great looking horse is he trotter r pacer

  • Digger is not a trotter or a pacer he is a true racker.

  • @virginiagravedigger my bad but he's a bad boy

  • @00jtown a pacer's feet strike the ground at the same time laterally. This is a racking horse.

  • hmmm the horse never looks happy...

  • I am sorry you feel this way. This horse is always happy. He loves what he does. All I have to do is hold the bit up and he takes it from me. You must not know gaited horses to make that comment.

  • @virginiagravedigger Your horse looks right into what he is doing to me!

  • @rachelsbeauty Dumbshit. horses don't SMILE, and this horse is absolutely content, loves doing his job. Idiocy should be outlawed.

  • @rachelsbeauty Gotta tell ya, I own his full brother, Undertaker's Mojo and my boy is always happy- and he's even more happy when he's on the trail, going long and strong...Are ya sure you know what you are talking about? Have you ever seen Digger in person? I doubt it, or you would not have made such a comment. Just like Mojo, Digger loves what he does too.

  • This horse is a thrill. Gives me goosebumps!

  • LOL he looks like my one racking horse Millenium!!

  • gorgeous horse nice mover

  • Absolutely amazing! I am floored by this guys conformation and ability! FLOORED!

  • Wow, absolutely gorgeous. That looks like such a fun ride, too!

  • as for those who commented it is cruel to make them do this, not natural etc,

well all i can say is in the horses reality, as a prey animal it is not natural at all to have ANYTHING on their back so no matter what breed of horse or gait you use even walking very slowly or just standing still, you should lable yourself cruel as well. true partnership as displayed here is a beautiful thing.

  • IT IS DEFINATELY NOT TROTTING if you think it is trotting have you actually seen a horse trotting or more accurately the rider? bounce bounce bounce, my chest is killing me at the thought of trotting at this speed lol, trotting is not smooth like this.

  • Wow, I am a life time Egyptian Arabian fanatic, but hmm He would be able to turn me lol.... if only my arb could rack like this i would be the happiest girl in the world ! ( no not saying he can rack at all, just that i would love it) I have a few comments about some nasty comments on here after going through all of them.

don't like the music? don't put it down, TURN IT DOWN duh impossible to use music 100% of people like...

  • I would LOVE to ride him. A good rack is sooooo much fun to ride! :-)

  • good

  • What a beautiful boy. Makes me miss my horse even more - she could really get moving racking too - so much fun!

  • Basically a trotter as we use them for harness racing pulling the sulky.

Except you ride these in saddle.

Looks like the very similar trot.

Also similar as the tennesse walking trot.

It's a fast and level ride.

This guy is a very nice mover.

  • This is my 2nd Best Speed Racking Video. Good Going.

  • <3 the rocky mountian horses

  • I'm hooked! I want one! Great song...so suits this beautiful animal. I could watch him all day.

  • OMG this is amazingg i soo want to learn how to do that

  • Holy crap. That's one damned fast racking horse.

  • This is sooo coooooolllll what a great vid love the music,,,,,just bought a TW....an am so looking forward to experiencing this breed....coming from Scotland an arabians..this is to be enjoyed

  • cool

  • Whoa! That horse is flying!

  • How much is your breeding fee?

  • Diggers breeding fee is $450.00 LFG and of course mare care and shipping semen is an additional cost.

  • Wow!

  • At 1:59 I get goose bumps watchin....

  • I can't stop watching this video. What an incredible horse! This music was made for The Grave Digger. Hope they make more videos of him.

  • This horse is gorgeous--love his conformation. Very well put-together video. I have it saved to my favorites and play it when I want a serious case of GOOSEBUMPS!

  • Looks good. Check out my colt if you get a chance He won the 3-4 year old Speed last year in Decatur. He is called

    Mr Evolution

  • Look at that boy go! Awesome horse!!!

  • how much is the frozen semen im asking for a friend

  • The charge for the semen is 450.00 than you have the shipping charge to Equi Transfer.

  • I wanna ride one of those! Weeee!

  • Wow! Nice rack! lol

  • My husband tells me that all the time. LOL

  • I have read all the comments people have left for Gravedigger, The only reason i can see why anyone would put down this beautiful horse is just plain jealousy. He is a drop dead Gorgeous horse.

  • One Awesome horse....Wish the video was clearer..

  • Must be your computer. I have never got that before. The video looks pretty clear when it is played on my computer. Thanks for the comment though.

  • ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS.....................wow!

  • oooooooo! i wanna do dat! lol i hve a champion how horse i just bought ,Aerial Assault. I think i might be able to get him to world grand champ like most of his whole family and like his dad gens armed and dangourous. amazin horse by the way . how o you get a tenasee walking horse to gallop? lol just asking i know hes racking im just curious

  • holyshit you guys should be overly proud with this amazing boy. he's gorgeous and out of this world.

  • that is amazing!!!! he reminds me of my standardbred, he's a pacer

  • Woah! thats amazing!!! my horse can rack but not as good as that! wow!!

  • Zowie! Horse is well named & music fits perfectly. Fun to watch!!

  • Holy crap

  • Haha its sorta like hes dragging his back legs :D

(he obviously isnt just his front are very high)

  • nice, but my personal opinion is that icelandics to it better.. but still 5* ;)

  • Thanxs for the reply in regard to Digger having a son standing in California.

I am sorry to hear there isn't one. I had a standardbred I broke to ride, she was fast and had come from the track. I rode her bareback in my 20's at quite a clip. Digger brings those memories back!!

  • We do ship Semen on Digger. He has a full Brother in California named Undertaker's Ace. If that helps. We also trained him.

  • Actually the other horse riding with Digger at the begining of this video is Undertaker's Ace and I believe he is standing in California. Just thought I would let you know.

  • It does thanxs for the info!!

  • how do u get trotters to do the fox trot. im buying a trotter who used to race but after being retrained as a riding horse he does normal trot, i was wondering if theres a way i could get him to do this amazing gate. x

  • These horses are bred to do this. It is not a foxtrot it is a rack or single foot. There is a big differance. Foxtrotters actually trot behind these horses do not. Good luck with your horse.

  • Wow! Such fluidity of movement! Very impressive =] And what a lovely gait as well!

  • wow! what an amazing animal!

  • Does this stallion have any sons standing in southern California?

  • Not that I am aware of. His father may have some but I do not believe Digger does. He only had one son before I bought him and he was in N.C. so unless they sold him I would have to say no.

  • He's so beautiful!

  • Kickin butt!!!! Just the best!!!

  • I dont just like the way ! I L-O-V-E the way he moves .Looks like he has it all Style, Speed and very smooth. You all are so very lucky to own him.I also love the way this guy rides this horse they compliment each other.

  • Thank you so much. We think he is pretty special and are very blessed to have the oportunity to own such an awsome animal.

  • Digger is an awesome horse-I'm proud to own his brother. Just hope Mojo (aka Tex) will grow up just like him!

  • I am sure Tex will be very nice. We have trained 2 Undertaker colts and they were both awsome. One was Dig and the other was Udertakers Ace. I didn't think he was quite as nice as Dig but I am also Partial to Dig. Tex will be great you will see.

  • Wow! he is amazing. I'm new to horses and I don't have my own yet so excuse my novice questions but what type of saddle is the best for walking/racking horse? English, Western, etc..

  • if u think he a champ u will race me

i got one that will walk off from any day any time anywhere

  • Sorry I do not race Digger and I never claimed he was the fastest just the smoothest at high speeds with alot of presence. Thans for the challenge though.

  • dont worry if he come out i will out rack him speed or slow

  • Im not even a little worried. Alot of mouths talk just like you and when we finally do meet up they are eating their words.

  • dont be jealous, just enjoy cuz you know he's a butt kickin' horse!!!!

  • so you got one i'll take you on with mine and i am not going to tell you where he is from but if you brake a gait you lose name the place

  • You talk an wful big game for such bad english.

  • Too embarrassed to name his sire???

  • icelandic horses are better !!!

  • Icelandics are fast but I don't know that they are better. I believe it is all in the eyes of each of us which is our favorite. All horses are wonderful animals and they are all great I do not feel that one is better than another.

  • i want to ask if u train them to have that pace or are born with this gift? in greece (where i am from)we have such horses but they are born like this we don't train them.i would be obliged if you show me how u train them!!!! thanks

  • why you gotta act like that? every icee i've seen looks like they can jar your liver out when they are doing the "flying pace"!!

  • only if your a midget

  • is he padded or does he just have big hooves?

  • No he is not padded. He weres a keg shoe like a quarter horse.

  • He looks like he loves his job. Gorgeous boy.

  • He does love his job. Thank you for your kind comment.

  • 2:15? holy shit! look at the legs go!

  • just a totally amazing and beautiful horse! and the song you chose was perfect!

  • rackin at its best

  • what is the name of this song?

  • wow!!!! my pony cold neva do that in a million years!=O

  • nice hat lolz

  • I fall i love with this horse every time I see his video.

  • great

umm... i havent heard much of this breed so just being curious .. do they ever like gallop or anything??? please reply

  • I own a pony about 12.3 hands. If I BRED GRAVE DIGGER and her together what kind of foal woud be produced? Any ideas?

  • a very confused one if your pony is not gaited. better stick to the same breed as your pony is.

  • Beautiful horse!! I have a racking horse - haven't clocked him yet but we gait and my friends on Arabs and Quarter Horses are galloping. Fun Fun FUN!! And, they have wonderful personalities. No spooking, great ground manners. Best out there.

  • i have a speed racker, they are soooo much fun, me and my mom take our walkers to this park that has a huge field in it and we race them across--mine racks on while hers has to run to keep up, i love the color, very beautiful

  • I love this horse and this song!!

  • WOW! even though it is completly wrong for my type of riding that looks like sooooo much fun!

  • That horse is amazing! Love the music...it's perfect for him. I turn this on every now and then just to feel good. Really gets you going! Thanks so much for making this video!

  • What is this music?? I like.

  • Is that something like Tölt?

I`ve got an icelandig horse and they walk tölt,that lokes like the same..??

  • Love this horse. Reminds me so much of my 'Rowdy One' that I had to put down in '07 ......he had cancer. I have a really nice mare now.

  • you got yourself an amazing horse there! wow

  • Isn't that a running walk? Oh well, great horse anyway!

  • No actually it is a Rack or a single foot.

  • Oh, I thought he was a Walker. I just do three - gait saddleseat, so I don't know alot about what gaits look like, but I do know what gaits go to what horse.

  • Also a running walk is generally not as fast as his slow rack let alone his fast rack.

  • amazing horse. man that looks like fun :)

  • God damn! he's mesmerizing, you've got yourself a hell of a horse there ^___^

  • riding on a paso is so smooth! i luv them there my fav breed there gaits are awesome lol
