i went in july the food was bad but the pools were nice and the pool bar was never open i played water polo there aswell

we stayed here in 1999, it was a fantastic hotel then, but notice it has changed alot since then

duntkikme66 ....There are two sister hotels together that share the pool...The Sol Pelacanos & the sol ocas....... I have stayed in both....they are great...never had a problem....will go o back again....The rooms you see on the tv show aren't either hotel...also...it looks like the bar they go to is attached to the hotel...it isn't...that bar is called Morgans & it is situated across the road & down the main road :)

this is a excellent hotel, great for kids, been in sept 2005,

may 2007 & will be their again in may 2009 & will be flying from doncaster as i am only 5 minutes away from the airport.

had to change rooms cos tiles in bathroom loose and only being held up by grout and also bath waste came away from bath so every time we used shower reception flooded but we told them b4 we used it nowt happened 4 2days then we were told 2 move roomswas not happy really badly run hotel not only that my 2 kids got an electric shock onfirst night there off one of those grab a prize machines. not happy at all

I have been there twice....The only reason? The POOL!...The food was good last year but crap this year...I'd go back again to the Pelacanos because apart for the food, we had a great room. Going back to Benidorm in 3 weeks but staying in apartments this time...I want to go to the hotel to see (if any) the damage

The "BLAZE" neva happened i was there it was only a small fire in an oven but it should ave burned to ground it is an absolute shit hole i was there only a week ago and had to change rooms 3 times

went there october 2007. the pool is fukin huge. they were filming Benidorm and all the cameras wehere set up but didnt see any of the cast and didnt see any filming. good holiday though. shit what happened about the fire.

I went there 2 years ago and am going back there in 6 DAYS!!!

Only to find out 'a blaze tore through and destroyed the hotel to rubble' in the newspapers.

Bloody hell!....Just read reports & I'm unsure if it's actually the Pelecanos or the Ocas which has been destroyed...Are they going to accommodate you in another hotel?...I'm going back to benidorm in 5 weeks time...I'm glad now that I booked an apartment instead of the Sol Pelicanos....I'll take a look at the damage when I get out there...Hope they sort something out for you

What room where you in mate, i was in room 1034 in may and the view you had looks very similar to the view we had.
