The words were touching, but (don't take this the wrong way) to me this isn't a poem. I just prefer poems to have some sort of rhyme and/meter...something that ties it all together. To me, "Poetry is a composition of words set to music," but that doens't just mean reading words with music in the background. It was a little depressing, as well... : / To sum up, I like it, but I can't think of it as poetry. It just strikes me more as prose.

This song reminds me of a boyfriend I lost 5 years ago now, he died, it felt like we were bound together and losing him nearly killed me inside.
