I didn't even know Thank You had a video. I just remembered this being the 1st or 2nd track off of II. (An album I bought twice....it was that good). By far one of the best sophomore albums I ever bought. Not one song on II was album filler. Thank You was definitely one of my favorites.....it was in my head recently so figured I'd youtube it and found that it actually had a video! To give you a clue, I graduated HS in '95! LOL. The 90's was definitely my decade. The 2000s....well, it was ok. :)

I'm not much of a fan of most of the "urban" music, and that includes a lot of what went on to be dubbed "New Jack" in the late '80s and '90s...but damn, these guys are great. It's just damned hard for me to not like anything I observe being done by someone (or multiple "someones") who is (are) fantastically good at it. Each guy individually has more vocal talent and skill in their left earlobe than most guys in any musical genre have at all; when they harmonize, they are almost without peer.
and also, this song was out when Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, All That, Family Matters, Step By Step, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? and Murder, She Wrote were still on the air.

It's just damned hard for me to not like anything I observe being done by someone (or multiple "someones") who is (are) fantastically good at it. Each guy individually has more vocal talent and skill in their left earlobe than most guys in any musical genre have at all; when they harmonize, they are almost without peer.
