im not much an amp expert but i think you can get a sound like that out of a VOX combo... but i guess you are playing Vox Cabinet... it sounds to rugged for a Marshal and to dirty for a line 6

I know nothing about guitars, and this is the one Im getting for Christmas!! Is there anything I need to know, or anything that needs to be adjusted? Is this guitar completely stock from the factory, or are the parts upgraded cause I heard something about you saying that its been "Hot-Rodded". Oh and, just a wild guess, but are you using a Marshall Amp?

The guitar brand new is horrible.

But after 4 or 5 years the wood finally ages and the sustain and harmonics all come together.

I've had this guitar for 6 or 7 years now. I us it over my '86 Kramer

i am using the same guitar. Put covers over the pickups, then it sounds and looks ways better, also maybe put a pickguard on it, just for the better look^^

With distortion/overdrive this guitar is very good you can play nicely, but with clean sound this guitar really sucks much.. I know cuz i play this guitar for 2 years :(, But still nice vid.

I have no idea what your playing. Sounds like some decent amp, fairly modern sounding. Great sound. I suspect you could pick up a plank and make it sound brilliant though.

@leyba11 yeah its pretty nice my only beef with it is its made out of cheap wood but still has a good tone but you need to treat it like a baby or it can get danged easily

Ok man GREAT REVIEW AND AWESOME PLAYING!!! I'm going to guess a Line 6? I currently am using the Line 6 Spider ii which really hasn't given me much of a problem yet. Also I'm guessing your using a pedal though not sure it had some distortion though, perhaps Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal? Also I have that exact same guitar. Got it about 3 days ago now, and fixing to get the Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal.

$88 bucks - amazing. Looks very Black Sabbath, which I like. nice sustain. I'd guess a Randall or Line 6? nice riffs at 1:40. Great riffs brother. Guitar sounds monsterous. Love it.
