When I first Richie was doing a Plastikman retrospective I feared that he was going the way of Cirque Du Soleil and Blue Man Group- selling out for production value in exchange for a franchise, therefore losing their originality in the face of corporate ownership. Richie seems to have transcended the creative problems that may have arisen out of a relationship between label owner, machine promoter and world-class DJ.

When i think of plastikman i think of huge headphones and laying on a dock @ a cottage and staring at the night sky. Not jumping up and down like some etard monkey while the beats goes BANG BANG BANG @ 150 bpms.

Btw if you love hawtin and you don't like this set. then you don't love hawtin. I don't think any of his plastikman stuff is danceable.

Jene die hier schreiben es sei eine enttäuschung gewesen und hätten mehr erwartet wissen einfach nicht worum es geht! im übrigen vergessen viele es ist nicht RICHIE HAWTIN sondern PLASTIKMAN & das sind 2 verschiedene paar Schuhe! viele schätzen die genialität nicht und genau wegen solchen Menschen wird die Technoszene nicht mehr das sein was es einmal war.
