Elderly with eye problems would read the books on 5 & 6. I've seen them reading the large print version on a table with standalone magnifier on. However, I'm not sure if their fingers are stable enough to press on those tiny keys on kindle multiple times....
Yes, it has audiobooks 'for now' but the screen of an ipod touch and iphone would suit a book. Not sure if apple want to incorporate books with their touch screen ranges. Just an idea.
The beauty of the Kindle, and other e-book readers, as opposed to an iPod (I love my iPod touch for what it is btw) is the e-ink technology with no backlight. So no, I'd say that an ebook on an iPod touch would NOT "kill".
Great video...informative. Re fonts, when you get to be a certain age, you will love being able to enlarge those fonts! One of the reason many of us baby boomers appreciate these ebook readers.
they could make these and they wud b like the hitchhikers guide 2 the galaxy(or just the world)

I would have chosen Fahrenheit 451 over Great Expectations. I hate Dickens having been forced to read that stuff at school.
hmmm Wonder what temperature a Kindle burns at ? :D

I didn't like Great Expectations....I didn't think the story was all that interesting. it just didn't connect with me.

Idk, but isn't it interesting that "Kindle" is another word for burning?
