  • could a flat four boxster engine be turbo charged?

  • @westsidelax32 most all new subies which now come standard with flat fours are turbocharged

  • Which is better super charging or turbo charging?

  • @Dtm7193 depends what sort of setup you're going for. What do you plan on doing with the car?

  • @1skiinIan I was thinking about getting an 86 for drifting.

  • Dumby. U don't have two compressors. U have a turbine and a compressor I've been balancing turbos for over 4 years.

  • i just need to know were i can get one for a little project i have

  • The Cat is a Mechanic!

    Great Vid

  • At least some one caught on to the supercharger/procharger thing. Obviously they are they same thing, just a brand.

  • If you don't have an intercooler, the turbo charger is a waste of potential horses

  • The main reason for the intercooler is not because of the exaust transferring heat over to the intake, but because air heats up as its being compressed and you want it to be as cold as possible so you can fit the maximum amount of oxygen in each combustion cycle. Also, if the temperature of the air in the intake is too high, you can get knocking.

  • Just a heads up for anyone wondering about other power adder options. Supercharging and Procharging are teh same thing (procharger is a brand of supercharger). The other option is Nitrous.

  • about the wastegate, isn't called a screamer pipe or something when they route the waste gate out of the car like that?

  • @carsornothing yeah it's commonly known as a dump pipe or screamer pipe when it exits to the bottom of the car without being recirculated back into the exhaust after the turbo

  • DOSING BRO!!!!!!!!

  • @geoff390 did you check out the second vid? and dosing? an english term? lol

  • I always thought that the need for a intercooler was because when the air is compressed it heats up. Cooler air which is denser will have more power.

  • @oilerman9406 yes that's correct. I can't believe I forgot to mention that too

  • FAVORITED! Excellent write up dude! I need a few things before I can start looking into a turbo set up, I need a new exhaust from the header down, bushings, and front brake rotors. But that's it, then I will start getting stuff to go turbo. Oh and I need a new battery and passenger window motor.
