BC Egg Drop 2003

we made ours today but launch them tomorrow we made the mars lander thing where it looks like a giant popcorn ball

u guys r so lucky we had so many rules for ours

had to be under 200 grams

no ballons

teacher had to touch egg

no tape

cant be ina box

and had to fit on a piece of paper tats was only half of the rules there were alot more

Great video

i just did an egg drop earlier this week. The simpler the design, the better chance they have at working usually. I toke a cardboard box and used old pantyhoes to suspend the egg in the center and it worked great.

i used dowel rods to make the framework and then just newspaper for the sides

Good for you.. There were very strict limitations... including no parachutes.

i saw only one nice design. were u not allowed to use parachutes? or dont u know how to make parachutes?

i can make parachutes that can bring down 6 eggs in normal packaging and not break a single one.
