thanx for that screamin is one of my all time fav albums. oh ya "harris"ing any song couldn't hurt the effort is greatly appreciated! i'm a big fan of these collab's
really well done,i like the bass fills and runs you had added in (very steve harris indeed).Going to go see Preist tommorow in Toronto for like the 4th time hahaha now so looking very forward to it.Anyways like i said very good cover.Cheers
Excellent work from this virtual Maiden project! sweet bass line! Brilliant solo and sound! Keep up the good work fellow LRRG! Whats next on your song list?
Damn, I love your collaborations and your renditions on songs. You make everything sound better and that Rickenbacker is some nice Eye Candy for the bass lovers. I can't see the blogspot website. It keeps saying that there isn't a blogspot for LRRG.
Nah, we just played different styles, you played your beats in clusters, and I played mine more straight and even because the album was that way. But really it is a question about style...you zigged and I zagged. I neglected to do my homework on that even though your vid came available long before I sat down to learn this tune. So its my bad that the bottom end is a bit loose.
Man, it's frightening how much you guys rock. 80's rock music is so much more fun to listen to when you're playing it, man! Awesome job in both the playing, and in the producing... you're getting good at that, Rob!
Thanks, Pook. To be honest, this is about as good as it gets without direct recording the guitars, a vocalist, or a center channel extractor program. I so wish I could get us to Virtual Zepplin production levels.
Wow, I'm really glad you guys did this one! It rawks! Great collaboration, 5/5 and faved. I remember the evening of October 28, 1982 at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. Lucky me, I got to see J.P. on the Screaming For Vengeance Tour. My ears are still ringing.
I never had the pleasure, myself. Priest was okay, but like the Scorpions, it was metal that my friends listened to more than me. Great stuff, though...not that glammy crap that came later. Thanks for stopping by, bro.
LOL...doubtful. If I do more Primus collabs (I actually have one out there with the_john_of_steel), it will probably be with some different cats. This is my metal band....not my thrash band or my funk band, but my metal band. It is the kind of music all four of us like.
R.I.P you glorious bassist bastard. You are missed.
Give em all one hell of a show in heaven.
