'Vreid' (or alternatively 'reid') means 'angry' and yes, it is a nynorsk (New Norwegian) form. It comes from Old Norwegian 'reidr', which has the same meaning. to all those who are talking about the Heathenfest show, i went for all of the bands, especially Vreid and Kivimetsan Druidi. i like all of the bands in that lineup, but Vreid was my favorite one. i just hope Vreid will come back again since they did a great job (despite the short set).

at the NY show there were a lot of people there for Eluvietie. I went for Alestorm and these guys. NY crowds usually suck though so it's probably not the best crowd to base it off of. Vreid were just amazing but no one knew shit about them so they had a crappy show.
