I let my kid watch this. Now I have a crying kid because there's no friggin' alligator feet. "Why can't I see the rest of the aggligator video, Daddy? I didn't do anything wrong?" Now I've got to explain to her there's no alligator and she still has to come through on her deal to brush her teeth and go to bed even though gerardascolese didn't let her watch the next video. Thanks for a footless (and heartless) alligator-bread video. It was pretty unique and interesting while it lasted though.

Hi,fromsharona.The key is that you need to let the dough rest enough time so that the gluten can relax,after you make your rope's let them rest a good 10 to 15 minutes.I hope it helps

I have a question please. why every time when I want to braid my challah dough as I put the straps(ropes) on the desktop so all my dough (ropes) shrink shortening and hard to work with bands. It's drives me crazy. I used high gluten flour and replacing it with other types but it happened to me again!!!! Where is the pr...oblem? i will be happy if some one can help me with that problem !!!
