Barber hasn't gotten a chance to run the ball as the #1 RB. We'll see who's better at the end of the season. As for covering Owens, good luck. Crayton still had more drops than Brown or Curtis and his high TD total is due to the fact he's a biproduct of having Owens and Witten. Only 7 other teams had more receptions out of their starting receivers than the Eagles.

Jerry Rice was the best, but it's not his total receptions that make him excellent. Crayton plays the exact roll we need him too, and if you consider him sorry, I'll accept that. At the same time, if he's sorry in your eyes, then so is every Receiver that Philly has. Westbrook led your team in receptions. That's pitiful. You're one of two teams that's receptions leader was their running Back. The other...San Fran. Don't talk to me about Receivers.

If Jerry Rice was the best, why did Roger Craig have more receptions than him twice? I thought having a RB lead your team in receptions was 'pitiful'. And why did Marshall Faulk have more receptions than Torry Holt twice? I guess Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce are 'pitiful'. Having a RB lead your team in receptions isn't a big deal, it's just how the WCO works. Crayton had more drops than Curtis and Brown despite being thrown to less.

Jerry Rice also went on to rank among the leagues TD leaders in both years with a YPC of over 15. It cuts down on your receptions when you take the ball to the endzone, instead of catching check down passes all day. Crayton had more drops than Curtis and Brown, despite being thrown to less, but he had more TD's too. So basically what you're telling me is, Crayton is better than any WR you've got, and he has room for improvement.

No, Crayton's TD totals are a biproduct of being opposite of Owens and Witten. Put Curtis and Brown in that situation and they TD's and receptions than Crayton. Don't forget they had an injured QB throwing the ball to them in an offense that started with the worst field position in football. Brown had 8 TD's in 46 catches in 2006 BTW.

Every player on the field is affected by the player on the other side of the field. The fact that Crayton hauled in 7, while Witten caught 7 , and Owens 15 is a testament to his ability. His teammates success doesn't produce more opportunities for him. It subtracts them. And nobody gives a shit what anybody did in 2006.

No if anything, it gave him better opportunity to make plays. He faced less strong safeties and 2nd corners because of Witten and Owens, not to mention teams game planned without him in mind. Like I said earlier, put Curtis and Brown in that situation and they have at least 10 touchdowns.
