You don't have to start the level over if you don't get the boshi barrel the first try. You can just jump in the barrel again without starting over.

This has probably already been mentioned, but the way to get the DK coin in Red Hot Ride is to keep the DK Barrel until you reach the steam collumn where the coin resides, use the barrel on the top Zinger, jump onto the blue balloon floating atop the column, then team-jump up to the coin.

This video reminds me of what happened when I passed World 2 in New Super Mario Bros Wii where you have to keep the Penguin powerup.

In this case you have to keep the Rambi upgrade.

Both are really hard I honor you for being able to keep the powerup and pass the level.

I know this is probably the worst video you made but still you passed so keep up the good work.

I forgot to mention, but in case nobody else has yet. If you fail a bonus barrel level thing you don't have to leave the level and come back to reset it, just jump in the barrel again.

Except in cases where it's impossible to jump in the barrel like in the roller coaster levels.

Yeah yesterday I spoke about the level Animal Antics...there is a barrel where the timing direction is bad and you can't pass this level without saved states and a lot of luck because the rom is bugged, I have the original game and this level is really easy (for the one who answered me.)

If you screw up a bonus barrel in a level, YOU DON'T HAVE TO RESET. You can keep trying as long as you can get back to where the barrel is located. As for the Red Hot Ride DK coin, you just had to keep the barrel until you got to the two bees, kill the upper one, and hop from your balloon to the other. Then you could just use the piggyback jump to get the coin.

Dear Tim,

You have previously said that you dont really feel like you want to play DKC3 (like you didnt want to do 2) and in my opinion you shouldnt do 3 if you dont want to. 2 has seemed kind of forced, and it hasnt seemed like you have been having fun. Some people may not like it, but you should do what makes you happy. IMO your next LP should be of a game you like and have fond memories of, because the last thing you want is to start feeling like LPing is work.
