joe mac was on the nl pennant winning mets that lost to the yanks....i think he pinch ran once in the series....but a helluva wiffleball pitcher AND hitter!!!!!

just to clarify, joe is the batting/infield/outfield instructor for the Charlotte Nights, the AAA White Sox's farm team.

yeah, i went to one of his games that he coaches and i got him to sign 6 cards, and 1 mets helment. He is really nice.

One of the worst trades the Cardinals ever made...McEwing to the Mets for Jesse Orosco (who pitched in all of 5 games for the Cardinals before getting hurt and then leaving at the end of the season via free agency.)
I miss little Mac wearing the birds on the bat. Shame he'll be remembered as a MET! Nasty, nasty, nasty.
