S-U-C-K-S. His tonal is harsh and gravely with a HARD edge to it. In fact, I really don't get the Russian school at all, They turn out terrific Mezzos like Borodina and their basses are legendary, Hvoristovsky is one DAMN good baritone. They all sing with awesome legato and seem to have a superb understanding of Italian line, but the tenors they are putting out are another matter altogether.

Galouzine's voice has to be appreciated in a hall. I've heard him at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
